Alexstrasza is a Healer hero from the Warcraft universe. She has two forms – human form (default) and Dragonqueen. In dragon form, her skills are greatly enhanced, transforming her from a poorly defended Hero into a dangerous foe. Despite her lack of CC abilities, she does an excellent job of being a healer on a team. That being said, her fireballs can help with wave clearing and will be another source of damage in teamfights.

Useful Strategies and Tips
Gift of Life (Breath of Life). This healing ability does not cost mana but forces you to sacrifice 15% of Alexstrasza’s current Health, and instead heals the target ten times the health lost. It will be optimal to try to use Abundance in order to heal yourself so as to maintain your health pool. In Dragonqueen form, the skill changes to Breath of Life, removing the Health cost and significantly reducing the cooldown, which allows this healing spell to be spammed as much as possible.
Abundance (Preservation) – the seed will draw a circle on the ground, which will heal all allies who will be in it in a few seconds. It is imperative to use this skill correctly in order to accurately heal your teammates, while not allowing opponents to use it as an advantage, showing where your team is heading. In Dragonqueen form, the skill changes to Preservation, greatly increasing the radius and heal amount.
Flame Buffet (Wing Buffet) A source of Slow and decent damage for wave clearing and lane poking. Hitting an enemy that already has burning from Flame Buffet will deal more damage, and if the target is an enemy hero, then refunds the mana cost. In Dragonqueen form, the skill changes to Wing Buffet, which gives him, in addition to damage and slow, also a Knockback effect. This will serve as a good way to knock down the enemy caste or push them away from Alexstrasza and her team.
Life-Binder is a good defensive ability that quickly heals or spits both an ally and Alexstrasza from an enemy burst. If Dragonqueen form is active, this skill gains 33% more range.
Cleansing Flame is a versatile skill. Due to the fact that after a short cast, Alexstrasza flies up and becomes untargetable, it will save you from attacks and damage of opponents more than once. Each fireball deals damage to enemies and heals allies, so it can be used not only as an additional heal but also as a way to control the point or to finish off enemy Heroes. After casting the fifth fireball, or six seconds, Alexstrasza lands at the position of the mouse cursor, allowing her to move out of the danger zone.
Dragonqueen is an extremely important cooldown, along with Heroic ability. This skill will not only add bonus health and reduced control effects (Stuns, Roots, and Slows), but also greatly enhance Basic Abilities and Attacks. You should definitely leave it for important teamfights, but be careful – its initial channel can be interrupted, which will put a ten second cooldown on it.
Synergies and Counters
Alexstrasza synergizes with Heroes, who have high maximum Health (such as Cho’gall or Stitches) and Heroes, who can slow or lock enemies in place for saving her from Assasins (such as Kael’thas or Junkrat).
Alexstrasza is countered by healing reduction Heroes (such as Deckard or Ana) and Heroes, who can disable her Dragonqueen form (such as Anub’arak or Zagara).
