Mal’Ganis is a melee Tank hero from the Warcraft universe. He has a high self-sustain due to his Trait – Vampiric Touch. This allows him to be in the thick of battles even if there is no allied healer nearby. Nice damage and a good peel set – Night Rush can give your team time to focus on the right targets. And the low cooldown on Fel Claws will help hold the tank or interfere with the enemy team while remaining alive.

Useful Strategies and Tips
Fel Claws is a basic engaging skill. In addition, a small cooldown and reactivation up to 2 more times allow you to escape from the pursuit or get to the Assasins in teamfight. The last slash Stuns enemies, which will be a great peeling for your team.
Necrotic Embrace has good AoE damage and healing for Mal’Ganis, while the bonus Armor grants additional damage reduction in combat.
Night Rush. This skill allows you to catch unwary enemies and give your team the opportunity to get close or get hit with important skills. In addition to this, the increased Movement Speed will also serve to change positions or catch up with the target.
Carrion Swarm is the main skill that allows you to survive a high burst or lack of support from the team. Despite the low damage, this skill will allow you to restore a significant part of your health. However, remember that this is Mobile Channeled Ability, which means Stun or Silence will terminate it.
Dark Conversion works well if you are faced with Heroes with high base health, such as Deathwing or Cho’gall. This will allow you to quickly remove them from the teamfight, unless of course you are interrupted by the cast.
Synergies and Counters
Mal’Ganis synergizes with high burst Mages with skillshots (such as Jaina or Kel’Thuzad) and melee Heroes will be happy to get closer while enemies are in Sleep.
Mal’Ganis is countered by Heroes with high mobility (such as Lunara or Hanzo) and Tanks with lots of interrupts (such as Diablo or Garrosh).
- High survivability
- Sustain damage
- Crowd Control
- Very weak interrupts
- Reduced healing can be very painful
