The winter is here and it means that all games are going to celebrate winter Holidays. Today we will tell you more about Overwatch annual Winter Wonderland event that starts every December.
As any annual event in Overwatch Winter Wonderland goes live with weekly challenges, new skins, emotes, sprays and thematical loot boxes. In addition, you will see that last year winter skins will be available for purchase. We mean those that could have been obtained only by weekly challenges last year, they are Ugly Sweater: 76 Skin, Holly Moira Skin, and Snow Angel Mercy Skin.
This year we are expecting three more event skins during Winter Wonderland 2020. And don’t forget to watch streamers and win games to get all the rewards.
Overwatch Winter Wonderland 2020 release date is still unknown but we have some predictions. All patches in Overwatch went life on Tuesdays this year. Add here the release dates of previous years Winter Wonderland:

In addition, to skins, you will feel the holiday mood in decorated zones and game modes. Every year, the Winter Wonderland event includes the return of two classic arcade modes in Mei’s Snowball Offensive and Yeti Hunter. Maps like King’s Row and Blizzard World also get a festive makeover. Last year there was a new game mode called Snowball Deathmatch wherein the eight-person free-for-all brawl, players could store up to three lethal snowballs in Mei’s blaster, giving them multiple chances to ice the competition before having to reload.
