Princess Connect Clan Battle Guide

There are several gameplay activities in Princess Connect that take place once per month during a particular period of time. Clan Battle is one of those. Here we will tell you more details about it.

First of all, Clan Battle is an activity mainly for those who consist in a clan. Even though there is now a Single mode and you can fight in Clan Battle even alone, you will not get all the rewards. So in any case to get the most profit out of it you need to be a member of a clan.

What is Priconne Clan Battle?

It is gameplay where you find five different bosses that rotate and change a bit every month. For a particular period of time, usually around 10 days, you and your clan mates will have to kill those bosses as many times as you can.

Every time you kill all five bosses you go for the next round, which is called a lap. After you complete several lops you will upgrade the tier of the bosses. That will unlock new abilities for them and make fights more complicated. The higher the Score Multiplier, the more Score you gain from damage you deal to the boss. Below is a list of the Tiers, Bosses and Multipliers:

Boss 1Boss 2Boss 3Boss 4Boss 5
Tier 1x1.2x1.2x1.3x1.4x1.5
Tier 2x1.4x1.4x1.8x1.8x2.0
Tier 3x2.0x2.0x2.4x2.4x2.6
Tiers 4-5x3.5x3.5x3.7x3.8x4.0

How the tiers change accordingly to the completed laps you can see below.

  • Tier 1 For Laps 1 – 3
  • Tier 2 For Laps 4 – 10
  • Tier 3 For Laps 11 – 34
  • Tier 4 For Laps 35 – 44
  • Tier 5 For Laps 45+

The fifth tier is the highest. There is a completion between players in the clan and between other clans. Those clans that defeat bosses more times rank higher on the ladder and their clan members get better rewards.

During the Clan Battle, you will also get rewards for killing a boss no matter how many times you kill it. Also, you get rewards even if you don’t fight it. And if you last hit a boss you get more rewards.

You have only three attempts per day (CP) to fight in a Clan Battle. But you get them only if you spend Stamina points, meaning that you need to play the game and only then you can participate in the Clan Battle. One Clan Battle try requires 300 Stamina points to be spent on other activities in the game. So you need to spend 900 points of Stamina per day to run your three attempts in a Clan Battle. CP is reset daily at 1:00 p.m. (UTC).

To participate in a clan battle, you must belong to a clan. Clans are released after clearing Main Quest 3-1 (NORMAL). Also, during the Clan Battle, it is not possible to leave or disband a clan, kick members, or change the active Clan Battle Mode. But it is possible to form or join a new clan.

Team Formation and Fight

There are some rules in Clan Battle that influence your gameplay performance. First of all, you can use a character only once per day in a Clan Battle. Even if it doesn’t die it gets exhausted and cannot fight anymore. But you can take a supporting character from the pull that your clan members share with others. One support character can be used per run. But they also get exhausted.

You should keep that in mind when you build your fighting comps. For example, if you need Makoto in all three runs you should check whether other clan members share her in the support pull. In the first run you can take your Makoto (she gets exhausted), in the second run you take supporting Makoto from one player (she gets exhausted) and in the third run you take supporting Makoto from another player (she gets exhausted as well).

Also, bare in mind that you cannot leave the boss fight (only once if you close the game entirely) as you will lose your CP. So if you need to try your comp before you start the clash mode enter trial mode and see how it goes beforehand. In addition, we recommend you prepare for the upcoming clan battle in advance and check the comps that will be the best for the boss’ rotation. You can see some options in our guide below.

Princess Connect! Re:Dive October 2022 Clan Battle Comps

Some other rules for your team formation during the Clan Battle. Units must be at least Lv10 to participate. Your player level determines the max level of support characters you can use. That means that you can take supporting characters that have a gap in 31 levels between your level and theirs.

If you defeat a boss before the time runs out, you’ll be able to use the same team that defeated the boss on the next boss along with the leftover time plus 20 seconds. Your team’s HP and TP will be set to the default values (100% HP and 0% TP). You can also change any team members as you like, just remember that the new member will be also counted as used for that day and can’t be used again in other teams till the next day.

Note that none of your characters gets EXP or Bond Points for participating in the Clan Battle.

Simultaneous Attempts

Very often you will fight a boss while other clan members are fighting him too. In the Clan Battle screen, you can see the number of players in the fight at that moment. Such situations are called simultaneous attempts and can have different outcomes.

  • Multiple simultaneous battles. A simple battle when no one managed to kill the boss. In such a situation, the boos will lose the equivalent amount of damage you dealt from the HP that he had when you finished your try.
  • Overkill. If other clan members finish their own Clash battles while your Clash battle is in progress and the boss’ remaining HP is less than the amount of damage you dealt to it such a situation is called an “Overkill”. In such a case, your score will be calculated by multiplying the boss’ total updated remaining HP by its score multiplier. If you also earn a carryover time in an Overkill battle, it will be calculated based on the total damage you dealt and the boss’ updated remaining HP.
  • Already-defeated Boss. If another clan member defeats the current boss while your Clash battle is still in progress, your battle will be rendered void upon completion, and your consumed attempt will be restored. Your characters will not get exhausted and no mana will get consumed for lending a supporting character. Only the first clan member gets extra rewards for final striking a boss.

The difference between Overkill and Already-defeated boss is that in the first case another clan member doesn’t defeat the boss but ends his own Clash battle before you do. So when your Clash battle ends you see that you defeated the boss but dealt more damage to it than HP he had. In this case, your team locks and you get time for the next try. You will have time that is left from a previous boss plus some amount of time calculated from overkill damage. You can use this time on another boss at once or wait for another boss. But the team will be locked and you won’t be able to change it. On the other hand your characters will start with full HP and 0 TP. All this counts as one CP.

Support Characters

You can place your own characters to support others. You can find this option in the options or in the Clan details screen. Click here on “Support Settings” and you will see all options to place your characters for support.

You can still use your characters as you like and placing it there will not cause you any restrictions. Moreover, you will get Mana for placing your characters. The more they stay there the more Mana is accumulated. You will get additional Mana if someone actually takes it. Clan Battle and Tower of Luna tab accumulates Mana only if Clan Battle or Tower of Luna is active. You get rewards when you end support. And you can place any characters for support at once after you end it.

If you want to take a character for support you need to pay 50000 Mana for that. Also, remember that you can take only those characters that are not higher than 31 levels than your account is.

Clan Battle Modes

It is a relevantly new feature that added an ability to set a Clan Battle to a Single Mode. In “Single Mode”, clan members individually challenge bosses and do not share their progress. You can get rewards when you defeat monsters or according to the number of laps you have reached during the period, and it becomes a low-difficulty mode for players belonging to the starter to intermediate runners clan.

Clan battles that have been held so far can also be selected as “Clan Mode”.

  • In Clan Mode, the remaining HP of each boss as well as all other progress is shared between all members of the same clan.
  • In Solo Mode, each clan member faces bosses individually, and progress is not shared with other members of the same clan.

Only clan “leaders” and “sub-leaders” are allowed to change the mode of the upcoming Clan Battle within a certain period. Usually, the ability to change the mode lock two days before a Clan Battle begins.

This feature can be useful for Clans with a few members when it is more profitable for them to play anole. Or for those who want to challenge the Clan Battle themselves. But that will lower the clan in the clan rankings.

All Clans participating in Solo Mode are assigned a Grade D for that month.

Clan Battle Rewards

As we have mentioned you get rewards once your clan kills a boss (in the single mode you need to defeat it yourself). You don’t need to deal damage to a boss to get rewards for it. But you get extra rewards depending on the amount of damage you dealt to a boss or for last hitting it (final strike rewards). The quality of rewards depends on the lap and tier that you fight.

In the damage log tab, you can see how much damage you dealt to a boss and also your rankings among other clan members. Monster subjugation rewards are listed on the boss details screen. Rewards include a set amount of jewels, silver shields and upgrade stones.

Note that only members who belonged to the clan at the moment when the monster was defeated are eligible to claim the rewards. Also, you can collect rewards for the current or the previous month’s Clan Battles. Even if you have joined a different clan since then you can still collect any uncollected rewards by visiting a Clan Battle screen.

Clan Ranking Rewards

All clans on your server will get ranked by their performance in a Clan Battle. The higher your clan gets the more rewards all of you receive. By clicking on the “i” button near the ranking number you will see the ladders. You can see the global rank of your clan or see your personal rank in your clan. Also, you can check out the ranking rewards.

According to rank, after the event period, clan members who have participated will receive the rewards in the Presents Box. Rewards will be given after rankings are calculated when the event ends.

The rewards amount changes accordingly to your rank range. Those ranges are:

  • Rank 1-10
  • Rank 11-25
  • Rank 26-50
  • Rank 51-150
  • Rank 151-300
  • Rank 301-700
  • Rank 701-1500
  • Rank 1501-3000
  • Rank 3001-5000
  • Rank 5001-7000
  • Rank 7001-10000
  • Rank 10001 – 15000
  • Rank 15001+

The ranking rewards don’t change much each Clan Battle but the memory shards rotate. Every time you get a set amount of Jewels, Clan Coins and Memory Shards relevant to your ranking in the current Clan Battle. Memory Shards can be of five characters: Io, Makoto, Chika, Suzume, and Yori. They rotate each time.

Clan Coins can be spent only in Clan Shop. Via the link, you find all details about it.

Clan Grade

The ranks that we have mentioned above influence the grade of your clan. It is assigned automatically after the system counts all the rankings for the finished Clan Battle.

The grades are as follows:

  • SSS: 1-10th
  • SS: 11-25th
  • S: 26-50th
  • AAA: 51-150th
  • AA: 151-300th
  • A: 301-700th
  • BBB: 701-1500th
  • BB: 1501-3000th
  • B: 3001-5000th
  • CCC: 5001-7000th
  • CC: 7001-10000th
  • C: 10001-15000th
  • D: 15001+

Note that all newly created Clans will be graded as D and only after your first Clan Battle you will be assigned a ranking place and the relevant grade. All Clans participating in Solo Mode are assigned a Grade D for that month.

This post gets updated when some changes occur in the game.
