High School will become an active place now. It means that you will be able to play your active teenage sim while he is at school. If your household includes several teenagers all of them will be playable in high school. So you will find your locker, which you can decorate. Other sims’ lockers you can have fun with and use for mischief activities.
Also, you will have a curriculum. The game will give you tasks like attending a business class, having lunch in the cafeteria, etc. You will have breaks to study with your friends or to prank others, or whatever. After the classes, you will be able to attend extracurricular activities. Some of them are obvious like the football team and cheerleading team. But you will find other activities that suit your hobbies the best.
After school, you will have time to hang out with your friends or you might be grounded and left in detention for bad behaviour. Speaking of socialization in High School, you will find new romantic stories and emotions through experiencing your first teenage love and breakups.
The legendary part is the prom. You will need to dress up properly, invite a pair to the prom and event win nominations as the king or the clown of the class. But along with such major moments as the prom or graduation, you will also lead your teenage sims through other important life moments like building friendship relations, finding your style and learning how to take care of your body.
Creating even more ways for Sims to explore their identities, a free base game update will go live alongside the release of High School Years, introducing an additional new feature that will add more choice and opportunity for discovery to your Sims’ lives.
The free base game update will also introduce body hair. For those with the High School Years Expansion Pack, Sims will be able to groom and trim their body hair’s natural growth over time, celebrating that transition through puberty.
For parents, teenagers are not fun. They will sneak around, make stupid things, and prank others, in other words, will eagerly discover who they are. Mark up the whiteboard, leave a stink capsule in your classmate’s locker or mess with the school’s PA system, but don’t get caught! Successfully pranking other Sims will increase your mischief skill, but being discovered will have consequences on relationships, as well as lead to trust issues. In the shop lot, you will find the opportunity to make looks for a sim, store, promote and even sell those looks to others. The items in the store rotate and you will not see all the clothes at once. So there is a point in visiting the store and checking for updates. In addition, you can buy looks from the store and wear trendi.
New places to visit and explore in the Sims 4 High School will be at the new town called Copperdale. There are three neighbourhoods each of them with its own theme and activities.
Rockridge Heights is the main lot of the expansion. Here you will find high school and all the places for extracurricular activities. As well as prom and football matches.
It is a place for afterschool activities. Here is situated a store with bubble tea, clothes and other stuff. This is a great place to show off your style and explore new ways to play as a teenager in the Sims 4.
