V Rising Common Players Reviews

V Rising is an open-world massive multiplayer action game, where you go on your adventures and fight as a vampire who needs to survive in this gothic world. We will take some most useful comments from positive and negative sides taking into account only those who played for an extended period of time. That is who we compile V Rising common players reviews.

“V Rising found the perfect balance of building, combat, some lore and exploration. I would highly recommend it to RPG and vampire fans. It could also be the next big survival game. Whether you want to play alone, with, or against other players, this has you covered. Once you get the hang of the combat you’ll begin to feel more and more powerful, crafting a towering castle that will terrify any delivery driver to their very core. I’m confident this will do well, and Early Access will continue to add new touches, tweaks and content between now and the eventual full release.” by 󠀡󠀡ᴹᴿƝƠƁƠƊƳ☠, 160 people found this review helpful.

“Best survival game that comes to mind in recent years. Even just the small things like a dev checking in on the server the first hour after launch and asking if everyone was having a smooth experience. Those small things make me feel like the devs care about their craft and want it to succeed, which gives me high hopes for the future. Great game, respectful of your time, easy to play hard to master combat, with a rewarding castle progression mechanic. 10/10” by Requinnt, 17 people found this review helpful.

You see that players praise the crafting system and surviving in general. Some other players also write positively about building a castle. You can click on the nicks of the mentioned players to check their profiles on Steam.

“The game is fun, but PvP is a real mixed bag.
Most of your PvP encounters will be squads of 4 ganking everything in sight as they camp the boss everyone needs to progress. So if one clan gets ahead then everyone else on the server is just stuck at their current level.
You also lose 25% of your equipment’s durability when slain by another player so it’s a slog to repair or get back to where you are if you get ganked 4 times in a row trying to gather resources or trying to kill the target that you HAVE to kill. Because there is no way around killing that singular target that you NEED to kill to progress in the game.
So the PvP for the game is a real mixed bag of enjoyment at the moment.
As for the PvE, it’s pretty easy so it’s not that much of a challenge for pure PvE.” by Walfegood, 81 people found this review helpful.

“False advertising, The game was advertised as having an optional offline play, but it is always connected and if you’re not you can’t play.
Edit: The game itself isn’t bad, but to clarify, you can’t solo play offline even if you host it locally, it requires you to be online at all times. This would be far less of a problem if this wasn’t what they mentioned on their webs on the steam page, “Make allies or enemies online or play solo offline, fend off holy soldiers, and wage war in a world of conflict.”
Edit 2: The quoted text is directly under the “about this game” on the steam store, first paragraph. Early Access isn’t an excuse for something so fundamental to playing a game and might mislead people.” by Kothar, 2,321 people found this review helpful.

“If you plan to jump in on this game and join PvP full loot server that is already progressed, just don’t. You will get camped and ganked at any boss you have to kill to progress further in-game. Overall it’s a good game but there is not much balance for PvP here. One group gets ahead of the rest of the server and boom they will camp important boss locations and make sure no one can progress further. Verdict: 7/10” by SneakyOwl, 8 people found this review helpful.

As we can see there is a problem with the PvP balance. Players are not satisfied with the fact that if you join a crowded server with old players you will not be able to proceed. The other problem they face is offline play in V Rising. It seems developers promised that you can optionally play offline, but there is no such option yet. It is claimed to be added soon though.
