It is official now everyone can play Valorant as it is available since 2nd June 2020! In this post, you will learn about the main implementations Riot Games added into the game compared to Closed Beta.
The guides above will help you become a better player. You should definitively read them if you have never played Valorant before.
The first thing you see as you enter the game is gaming tolerance rules. I want to highlight it because it is very important. Valorant is a multiplayer PvP shooter and everything here depends on you and your teammates. In order to win you need to play as one even though you have never knew each other before.
Remember that grieving and flaming won’t lead you to victory. Concentrate on your game, listen to callouts, and try to become a better player.
Valorant new Agent, Map and Game Mode
As we have thought Riot haven’t left the game as it was in Beta. They’ve made a lot of changes and one of the best are new Agent and Map.
We will add this Agent to our tier list in some time. But here you can read a description from the game.
Reyna is a duelist with high sustane. Your task is to kill and recover. But let’s have a closer look into her abilities.
Signature. Dismiss: Instantly consume a nearby Soul Orb, becoming intangible for a short duration. If ultimate (Empress) is active, also become invisible.
Leer: Equip and ethereal, destructible eye. Activate to cast the eye a short distance forward. The eye will Nearsight all enemies who look at it.
Soul Harvest: Enemies killed by Reyna leave behind Soul Orbs that last 3 seconds.
Devour: Instantly consume as nearby soul orb, rapidly healing for a short duration. Health gained through this skill exceeding 100 will decay over time.
If Empress (ultimate) is active, this skill will automatically cast and not consume the Soul Orb.
Ultimate. Empress: Instantly enter frenzy, increasing firing, equip and reload speed dramatically. Gain infinite charges of Soul Harvest abilities. Scoring a kill renews the duration.
As any other agent you can open Reyna while playing. Simply get points for matches or activate Reyna contract to get extra rewards and open her in the end.
Ascent Map and Spike Rush Mode
After Valorant release there are 4 maps in the game. Three we have already written about Bind, Haven and Split. And now there is also Ascent map in Valorant.
Ascent is a very active map where a lot of things are happening simultaneously. You will need to your ears and eyes open here. There are two spike planting points and several paths to reach them. We will add it to our Valorant maps guide. And meantime you can inspect the layout above.
As for the new game mode. It is called Spike Rush and it lasts twice less than a standard match. In Spike Rush, you’ll see the same purpose as in Unrated mode but there will powerups on a map and random weapon load-outs. You win until first 4 winning rounds.
Valorant patch notes 1.0
In addition to everything we mentioned above, we’d like to share Valorant patch notes 1.0 Highlights that we’ve taken on official Valorant website.
We will write separately about the agents’ updates and also we’d change our agents guides. So let’s focus on such new things as game utility and interface.
First of all, now you can see when you hit the enemy. The moment your bullet hit the target there will be a red splash of enemy’s blood. So now you’ll know for sure when you deal damage. You can read all patch notes and quality of life changes here.
In the official Valorant gameplay trailer you will also see the launch of the first game act: Ignition. That name is associated with the cosmetic rewards that you can get for playing Valorant. There are two types of these rewards: one you can get fore free, but to open other ones you will need a Battlepass.
That’s it for now. Bookmark our website not to miss the latest Valorant guides and news.
