Personally, I waited for this addition since I tried playing the Japanese version of Priconne and finally, it is added to the global version! Here I’ll tell you how it works and what to expect from it next.
On the 17th of February 2023, developers introduced us to the new story mode called Story events.
Starting today, we will be periodically introducing Side Stories, letting you experience previous Story Events again, or for the first time! First up, we have “Hatsune’s Perfect Present”!

When an event will be removed from the rerun pull of events it will become one of the side stories. Unlike regular events or reruns side, stories are permanent. The first time you complete its levels you get gems for 3-star completion. Killing bosses (normal, hard and very hard) will also give you rewards and gems but only for one completion. After you finish all of it you can farm shards there from hard levels!
New events will be added to side stories in the sequence as they were added to the game as regular events. You can see that sequence yourself here. Even if you don’t know Japanese it is easy to understand. Look at the images of the titles of events and scroll to the very first of them. You will see that “Hatsune’s Perfect Present” was the first-ever released event and the next one will be “Little Brave Halloween Night” which appears in side stories.
Unfortunately, I cannot tell you exactly when it occurs but soon enough I suppose. Side stories are very useful if you want to farm shards on characters that appear in them. Also, they have a wonderful bonus of items and gems you get for the first clearing of levels. I love them.
