World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic Reveal

Now it is official the return of the most popular WoW expansion is true. Dive into the history of the Lich King and defeat him once more. Read what you can expect from World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic release date is not yet known, but we can tell it will be later this year. The last phase of WoW the Burning Crusade classic will start soon and after it finishes there will be some time before the Lich King begins. If you have played the original version you may notice that the upcoming WoW Wrath of the Lich King classic will be a bit different. Below you can read the details.

New zones – Northrend – Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord. Divided between horde and alliance.
New class – Death Knights that start from level 55 and can be any race and playable by horde and alliance.
The inscription profession will be unlocked.
New achievements.
New dungeons and raids – like Azjol-Nerub and the Culling of Stratholme, and lay siege to Naxxramas as a 25- or 10-player raid – an update of its original iteration as a 40-player raid in pre-expansion World of Warcraft.

The features mentioned above are pretty much as they were in 2008. As for the specific features that will be in 2022 read below.

Boost to level 70. You will be able to buy it. Nothing new actually.
WoW WOLK is included With Existing World of Warcraft Subscriptions just like any previous classic expansion.
No Dungeon Finder. If you were waiting for Wrath of the Lich King classic to play with dungeon finder, forget it. Blizzard decided that the community wants to communicate and form groups like in Classic.

Personal Arena Rating. Also, there will be no Arena Teams in Wrath Classic.
Barber shop. It was first implemented in WOLK but this time it will be improved with more features and styles that previously were paid only.
