Genshin Impact Dendro Element Preview

In version 3.0 game will become more complete at last. New and the last seventh elemental power will appear in the game. It is called Dendro and it will release together with the Sumeru region. In this post, we share with you the latest updates from HoYoverse and you will see how will Dendro influence the gameplay of Genshin Impact.

So when the Dendro element appears in Genshin Impact it will make the seven-element fighting system complete. Developers agree that it was not an easy task to find the ideal concept and balance. So they decided to use a systematic approach. Dendro element reactions will get triggered on three principles.

For example, Pyro used on Dendro will burn it out and destroy it. That reaction is simply called Burning and you have seen it in the game before. It is based on real-life experience. Hydro will provoke a new reaction called Bloom. As a result of this reaction you will see Dendro Orbs falling from the enemies. Those orbs will react with other elements like any other Dendro-affected item or character. This second approach to Dendro reactions is based on the understanding of Genshin Impact mechanics in general and real-life experience as well. The other new reaction is called Catalyze. This is the name of the reaction between Dendro and Electro elements. the result of it is not based on players’ perceptions but on the deep inner storyline of the relations between Inazuma and Sumeru.

Of course, in version 3.0 in Sumeru players will see a lot of new environmental things that you will need to figure out. Some you will see in the video that we share below. Other you will need to find out yourself. But we assume that there will be a lot of different new puzzles in the game based on new element reactions between six already active elements and the new Dendro element.

As you can see Sumeru do present some new knowledge to get and puzzles to solve.
