Developers have announced the new version of Genshin Impact. It is a long-awaited one that was postponed due to some inner problems in China. Anyway, now we can see what awaits players in the nearest future. So read on to see some details of the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 2.8 Summer Fantasia update.
The release of the Genshin Impact Version 2.8 Summer Fantasia might be on the next week on the 13th of July.
For now, there have been announced four characters that you can see below.
A wandering samurai from Inazuma who is currently with Liyue’s Crux Fleet. A gentle and carefree soul whose heart hides a great many burdens from the past.
Owner of Naganohara Fireworks. Known as “Queen of the Summer Festival,” she excels in her craft of creating fireworks that symbolize people’s hopes and dreams.
An explosives expert and a regular at the Knights of Favonius’s confinement room. Also known as Fleeing Sunlight.
A young prodigy detective from the Tenryou Commission. His senses are sharp and his thoughts are clear.
So as you can see there are three reruns the first one is the Kaedehara Kazuha rerun, the second one is the Yoimiya rerun and finally the Klee rerun. Also, we will definitely see the new 4-star Anemo character Shikanoin Heizou. In addition, there was mentioned Xinyan on the stream, but maybe she will be granted for event activities.
There’s gonna be two more outfits for Fischl and Diluc in Genshin Impact 2.8.
The new outfit for Fischl which is called Ein Immernachtstraum is a free one. You will get it for completing all requirements during the event Summertime Odyssey in Version 2.8.
The new outfit for Diluc which is called Red Dead of Night will be available in the shop. Unfortunately, you will not be able to get it for free.
There will be five events associated with the Summertime Odyssey Event in version 2.8 of Genshin Impact.
You can see their names in the screenshot above: Surfpiercer, Temple of the Star Latitudes, Misty Lillis Foggy Vales, The Island’s Stirring Strings, and Immernachtreich Keep. Each of them is briefly shown on the event preview page.
In addition, there will be some more entertaining events with puzzles and fun. For example, there is Evermotion Mechanical Painting. The gameplay of it is shown below.
Also, there will be a Reminiscent Regimen, Hidden Strife, and Resonating Visions. All of them you can also see on the website. As you can see the update is very massive, but the new region Sumeru might not occur in this version, unfortunately. As well as the Dyndro powers.
