How long is Cyberpunk 2077?

Cyberpunk 2077 is a plot-oriented game. It means that you are not playing a simple shooter but a game where your decisions influence some parts of the plot. In our post, you will learn how much time will you spend if you want to walk through the full game with or without completing side quests.

There are many quests in Cyberpunk 2077. You can play any possible way you want. Continue your hitman life and complete the tasks from fixers in different zones. Or monitor the situation on the streets to help the police prevent a difficult situation. Such quests will boost your level and you will continue the storyline upgraded and prepared.

Some side quests are important and can influence the main plot. You can skip them but it means that you also skip a great part of the main plot. There are several ways of beating Cyberpunk 2077. Each of them will take a different amount of time to walk through the game. First of all, you can rush through the main quests and complete the game in 5-10 hours. Second of all, you can make all sidequests that influence the main plot in addition to main quests that will take you 15-20 hours. But keep in mind that if you are interested only in the plot you cannot play on high difficulty. Because high difficulties require better gear, upgrades and skill to walk through the game and that requires time, so you won’t finish it fast.

But the most interesting way is to do all missions and quests presented in Cyberpunk 2077. You will see all Easter eggs, learn more about the lore, find exclusive weapons and meet exciting people. Some side quests are really interesting to spend time on. In this case, you can walkthrough the game in 80-100 hours. But there is no limit actually, you can spend as much time as you like if you want to see and try everything Cyberpunk 2077 has to offer.

Personally, I have rushed the main plot just to see the whole endings and started the new character to walk through the game one more time on a higher difficulty and with another attitude to the game. Now I complete side quests and play safer as a netrunner. That’s an interesting approach and I enjoy it.
