Genshin Impact Noelle Build and Best Team Comp
Also, we have other useful guides about all Genshin Impact characters that you might find interesting and useful. You can see the link below.
What is the most important when you make a team comp in Genshin Impact is to remember that your characters must work together. Their talents need to assist each other and only via reactions. Some characters have talents that will change the whole impression about them when you see their talents.
Like any other character, Noelle has two types of talents – active and passive. The whole description of Noelle skills (talents) you can read via the link. In this post, we focus on the basic strategies and will explain what Noelle talents are worth paying attention to. Let’s start with talent priority for Noelle.
Sweeping Time is Noelle’s Elemental Burst. Gathering the strength of stone around her weapon, Noelle strikes the opponents surrounding her within a large AoE, dealing Geo DMG. Afterwards, Noelle gains the following effects: Larger attack AoE, Converts attack DMG to Geo DMG that cannot be overridden by any other elemental infusion, and Increased ATK that scales based on her DEF. This is why many players recommend playing Noelle Main DPS at the beginning of the game.
Favonius Bladework – Maid is Noelle’s Normal Attack. Nothing special. The normal attack works as at any other character with a claymore. When you quickly press normal attack you will see 4 different move sets. Drains Stamina over time to perform continuous spinning attacks against all nearby opponents. At the end of the sequence, performs a more powerful slash. If you attack from the height you activate a plunging attack that strikes the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Breastplate is Noelle’s Elemental Skill. Summons protective stone armor, dealing Geo DMG to surrounding opponents and creating a shield. The shield’s DMG Absorption scales based on Noelle’s DEF. The shield has the following properties: When Noelle’s Normal and Charged Attacks hit a target, they have a certain chance to regenerate HP for all characters. Possesses 150% DMG Absorption efficiency against all Elemental and Physical DMG. The amount of HP healed when regeneration is triggered scales based on Noelle’s DEF. So you can activate the shield and continue strike enemies with Noelle to heal party members.
The other important thing is to know how exactly character ascension enhances them and what advantages you can get out of it for your team-building strategy. We what to attract your attention to the following Noelle Ascension Passives.
Devotion
1st Ascension Passive
When Noelle is in the party but not on the field, this ability triggers automatically when your active character’s HP falls below 30%:
Creates a shield for your active character that lasts for 20s and absorbs DMG equal to 400% of Noelle’s DEF.
The shield has a 150% DMG Absorption effectiveness against all Elemental and Physical DMG.
This effect can only occur once every 60s.
This is extremely helpful and you can take any melee character to play as main or sub DPS.
Nice and Clean
4th Ascension Passive
Every 4 Normal or Charged Attack hits will decrease the CD of Breastplate by 1s.
Hitting multiple opponents with a single attack is only counted as 1 hit.
You will get a healing effect from the Hurdo circle one additional time if you extend it to 5s.
Depending on what we have written above we will continue with character combinations that will suit Genshin Impact Noelle team the most. Normally we would also include some tips depending on the character’s constellations. But as for Noelle, you need as many constellations as possible. On C1 Noelle will heal with a 100% chance from Breastplate. On C4 she will deal 400% ATK of Geo DMG to surrounding opponents when the shield is destroyed. On C6 Sweeping Time increases Noelle’s ATK by an additional 50% of her DEF and additionally, every opponent defeated during the skill’s duration adds 1s to the duration, up to 10s. So every upgrade is a must for her.
There are several roles that all characters obtain in Genshin Impact. Your perfect team would consist of the Main DPS, 2 SUB-DPS characters and one Support. Main DPS is occupied by a character that can deal a decent amount of damage from all sources, auto attacks, elemental reactions and elemental bursts. Sub DPSs are needed to activate reactions that boost the main DPS’ damage or deal some extra damage while the main DPS is sticking their elemental burst. Support can vary typically it is a healer/shielder, but in some cases, it can be a battery (the character that stacks elemental burst for the team) or a spreader (the character that can spread reactions activated by all the characters).
Noelle is not a typical character. She is good in several roles and mainly everything depends on the number of constellations she’s got. So you can start playing as support with C1 very effectively, but then upgrade her to sub or main DPS with C6. Below you can see some options for different Genshin Impact Noelle team comps that we find decent. But let’s start from the Genshin Impact free to play Noelle team comp.
Noelle and Geo Traveler will activate Geo Resonance which will increase all good sides of Noelle. She will defend better and deal increased damage. Xiangling will be sub DPS with her Elemental Burst and Barbara is a good healer and Hydro activated for Vaporize reaction. If you have C1 Noelle and she heals enough for your needs, you can change Barbara with Amber and activate Pyro resonance to have even more damage.
Noelle has good potential as the main DPS after Gorou has been implemented into the game. Thanks to his ability he can increase Geo damage depending on the number of Geo characters in the team (3 maximum). So Noelle becomes really strong with her Elemental Burst in the composition with Gorou and other Geo characters. Better to use Zhongli if you want to play Noelle as the main DPS because his shields and abilities are better in the sub-DPS position. Any electro character is good with a team of 3 Geo characters with Gorou, but Fischl is more flexible and better sub-DPS.
This is as good as the team above. Raiden is better than Fischk but Albedo is not as effective as Gorou in combination when Noelle is the main DPS. But if you want to play with premium characters you can take this Noelle comp.
Below you can see other strong combinations to play as Noelle in different positions. They are usually based on different swaps that can replace some characters from the teams we have mentioned above.
You will find some tips on how to build Noelle’s team below.
If none of the listed above you don’t like or you don’t have some characters mentioned in Noelle teams you can really on the following tips.
