Overwatch Summer Games 2020 Begin

It’s been a year since the last Overwatch Summer games already! And it means that it is time for the new annual Overwatch Summer Games 2020. What time do Overwatch events start? Overwatch Summer Games 2020 will be held on August 4 – 25, 2020.

What can you get for playing Overwatch Summer Games 2020?

The simple answer is cosmetics. Such as icons, spay and even skins. The event is divided into three weeks every week you can get rewards for winning the corresponding amount of games in the following game modes:

• Quick Play,
• Competitive Play,
• the Arcade.

WEEK 1 Overwatch Summer Games REWARDS

The first week of the Summer Games will be on AUGUST 4 – AUGUST 11. The main hero of this week is Tracer. To get all the rewards you need to win 9 games in the game modes we wrote about above. Those rewards are:

Please, note that these skins and rewards you can get only via winning the corresponding number of matches. But there are also other great cosmetics that you can buy in Overwatch.

Overwatch Summer Games 2020 Legendary Skins and more

As for these rewards you can get them in loot boxes or by exchanging in-game currency on them. They look pretty awesome this year, don’t you think?

But Lifeguard Pharah and Surf’s Up Echo are not the only legendary skins that appeared in this year Overwatch Summer Games.

As you can see, there are three more Overwatch Legendary skins: Tropical Baptiste, Karate Doomfist, and Feskarn Brigitte. In overall there are 5 new legendary skins!

Summer Brawls – Time-limited game modes and Arenas

The first traditional time-limited game mode is called Lucioball. It is similar to soccer. You will need to score more goals into the opponents’ gates to win a match. Oh, and yes, you all play as Lucios.

The second one is new! And it is called Lucioball Remix. It is like Lucioball but with two balls at the same time in the game. Moreover, some additional balls will spawn and grant even more points if you score a goal with them.

Also, there’s been some update to Arenas where you can play Lucioball and Lucioball Remix. So be ready for updated Sydney Harbour Arena and Busan Stadium.
