Path of Exile has a new experiment in the game that will be held during the current 3.15 patch every weekend. It is called Path of Exile Royale and is a place to show off your PvP skills. As we have already mentioned in the previous post about PoE Royale it has a simplified skill tree, where every class starts from the same position and can level up any of the desired nodes. So the hero you choose in the character’s menu is just a model to play within the arena. The real importance comes from the PoE Royale skill tree which will upgrade your skills. What is more, you will get skill gems randomly and thus you’ll need to orientate through the skill tree in Path of Exile Royale to become more powerful than other players.

Every match gives little time to come through all the tree and nodes, so it is better to enter the match prepared and know the directions of the tree to level up as fast as you can or you get shot in the process. Below you can see the picture of the whole PoE Royal skill tree with nodes descriptions.

As you can see there are still six classes that you can define by their background. They can be described as (starting from the top and moving to the right):

• Intelligence based cluster – best for spells and energy shield
• Intelligence and Dexterity based cluster – best for traps, poison and power charges
• Dexterity based cluster – best for projectiles (bows) and dodge
• Dexterity and Strength based cluster – best for melee and block
• Strength based cluster – best for melee and bleeding
• Strength and Intelligence based cluster – best for elemental damage

Don’t rush your skill tree if you haven’t got the decent skill gem yet. Because your passive skills should support your active skill gem and you don’t have refunds in PoE royale so you might lose because of the bad skill tree.
