Older characters get upgrades in a way that you can unlock unique equipment for them or upgrade a character to 6-stars. We will write the major things needed to know about Kuuka for the current state of the global version of Princess Connect Re:Dive! In the first block, we will write general details about the character and in the further blocks, you will see recommendations for levelling Kuuka, her usage, and some options for teams in Kuuka.

Kuuka General Details

[Physical] A raging masochist who acts as a decoy in the vanguard to draw attacks. Her Union Burst erects a barrier that heals her by absorbing magical attacks.

Kuuka’s union burst deploys a magic absorption barrier. She also protects allies with provocation effect + physical defence increase. Her magic defence can be increased with skills and EX skills. Kuuka is extremely useful against magic comps but is not very good against physical attacks.

On receiving unique equipment Kuuka gets a recovery effect added to provocation skill. In addition, the pedestal defence-up effect increased. And equipment status can strengthen the recovery amount.

Union Burst Throes of Ecstasy	[Description] Deploys a barrier around oneself that absorbs magic damage, and recovers own HP by a moderate amount. [Effect] Deploys Barrier that absorbs 70 (35.0 + 35.0*Skill Level ) magic damage. Recovers own HP by 1506 (12.0 + 12.0*Skill Level + 1.0*atk).
Skill 1 Play with Me Instead!	[Description] [Taunt] Taunts all enemies. Large boost to own physical defence. [Effect] Provokes all enemies. Boosts own physical defence by 2 (1.2 + 1.2*Skill Level). EX Skill Sheltered by Fantasy	[Description] Moderate boost to own magical defence at the start of the battle. Boosts own magic defence by 4 (2.0 + 2.0*Skill Level). [Normal EX+ (unleased by reaching ★5)] Large boost to her own magical defence at the start of the battle. Boosts own magic defense by 34 (32.0 + 2.0*Skill Level).

As a Bond Level bonus, Kuuka will get bonuses to ATK, Magic STR, and HP recovery rate.

Kuuka can increase his own magic defence with skills and EX skills. Also, Union Burst can deploy a barrier that absorbs enemy magic attacks, so it is a tank character that is strong against magic attacks.

It is possible to provoke all enemies with skills and collect targets for attacks. Since it can act as a tank against enemies with medium-to-long-range attacks, it can also be used to protect allied attackers.

Kuuka has excellent defensive-up skills, but self-healing can only be done with Union Burst. Note that if you place it at the beginning, it may be defeated before the Union Burst is activated.

In the arena, characters with strong magical attacks are often used. Kuuka has a high magic defence and can absorb magic, so depending on the opponent’s party, she can play an active role as a powerful tank.

Kuuka can receive provocations such as skills that can attack through tanks possessed by Hatsune and Tamaki. It makes it easier to protect allied attacker characters and contribute to victory. She is a strong tank character against magic attacks. It is a very effective character when you want to take countermeasures against magic attacks, such as in the latter half of a quest.

With unique equipment Kuuka gets self-recovery to the provocation skill, making her more resilient than ever before. It is also very useful as a tank for quests and the Tower of Luna, expanding its range of activities.

Kuuka’s UE increases defence and health recovery. Unlocking the upper limit can purely increase endurance, and it is possible to greatly increase the recovery effect with skills/UB. Becomes a more powerful tank in the arena.

The first column that you see above is the recommended upgrade order for the character. First, you should upgrade Kuuka to 3 stars and then unlock Unique Equipment but don’t max level it, better continue upgrading her to 5 stars. After that continue levelling UE. As for the gear and rank just max it to the currently available state.

Kuuka is a strong tank in Arena against magic teams. So if you like Arena fights you should consider levelling her. Also, Kuuka can be useful in PvE like Tower of Luna or levels. She is not used in Clan Battles though.
