Sacred 2 High Elf Class Overview

She lives and breathes magic! Inside the walls of the magic academy in Thylysium she studied the ancient lore – now, she is about to set off into the unknown. The young master pupil is eager to learn more, and she begins her adventures hoping that she will uncover even more secrets in order to expand her knowledge. If she wins acclaim along the way, so much the better!

Sacred 2 All Classes

Strange and dreadful stories reach the gates of the ancient academy of magic in Thylysium. The tales carry bleak news about horrifying incidents: Apparently, entire landscapes have been infested with the chaotic power of the T-Energy. Tidings of mutated animals and monstrous creatures in the north of the country are being heard. The world is on the brink of a major disaster and nobody seems to be able to avert the imminent danger. The Masters of the academy send their best student to find out what is going on in Ancaria. That is the moment the High Elf has been waiting for! Finally, she will be able to use her magical abilities and to prove her wisdom. Her hunger for adventures and her insatiable desire to increase her knowledge are essential conditions to reach that goal.

Following the path of Shadow, the High Elf will seize the opportunity to lead her house back to where it once belonged: To the very top of the High Elven society. During her travels across Ancaria she intends to find powerful allies and to improve her magical abilities. She is scheming to reinstate her family as sovereigns, and to place herself at the top of the academy. In order to reach this goal, she is prepared to destroy literally everything…

Or maybe she will choose the path of Light? This would be the perfect moment to intervene! Ancaria is in turmoil. Injustice, oppression and hatred are commonplace. The Humans must finally be freed from slavery and they must be given power to vote. Now is the time to lead the world into a more secure future.

High Elf Aspects

  • Arrant Pyromancer – Choosing this aspect will render the Adept as the classic mage, fully devoted to the element of fire. The very nature of these studies is a burning aggression, leading to a predominantly offensive style. Executing the art of fire magic allows for a wide flexibility in which the spells can easily be individually adapted.
  • Mystic Stormite – Here she specializes in ice magic, putting emphasis on her own protection while also weakening the opponent. This art of magic is the opposite of fire magic. It is much more defensive, although even a storm magician is able to weave some powerful attack spells.
  • Delphic Arcania – This aspect comprises many powerful and effective spells. A High Elf proficient in the study of the Arcane Illusionist wields magic that will assist and protect, equipping the mage for confrontations in melee combat. This is the school of classic magic, well suited to support one of the other aspects.

Arrant Pyromancer



Ancestral Fireball

The classic spell favored by novices and masters alike. However, variations allow the fireball to be customized and wielded as a succession of blazing rapid fire spheres, or it could become a large, explosive fire-and-forget projectile.

  • Greek Fire – Increases the chance that the hit opponent will burn.
    • Explosion – Fireballs inflict area effect damage on nearby opponents.
  • Fusillade – Conjures an additional fireball. Overall damage will be increased but divided between the fireballs.
    • Globe – The fireball increases in size and inflicts more damage.
  • Fusillade – Conjures an additional fireball. Overall damage will be increased but divided between the fireballs.
    • Hot Pursuit – Fireballs will follow their targets.


Blazing Tempest

A tempestuous wave of fire is set forth in the desired direction.

  • Scorch – Inflicts more damage upon impact.
    • Ignite – Increases spread speed.
  • Spell Flow – Significantly decreases the regeneration time of Blazing Tempest.
    • Conflagration – Sets targets ablaze.
  • Fright – Adds a chance to scare targets into fleeing.
    • Ambition – Increases the Chance for critical hits.


Incendiary Shower

A devastating shower of meteors will rain down on the enemies in the target area and smash them to the ground. It will be possible to enhance this spell to include a huge meteor that will inflict heavy damage upon impact.

  • Skull Smash – Chance to stun opponents on impact.
    • Magma Rain – Increases meteor fire damage.
  • Continuity – Increases Incendiary Shower duration.
    • Smoking Rock – Meteors inflicts more physical damage.
  • Devastation – Increases the chance of inflicting critical hits.
    • Intensity – The time interval between meteor falls is shorter. Number of meteors is unchanged.


Fire Demon (Buff)

Conjures a fire demon which enhances the effectiveness of the High Elf’s Arrant Pyromancer combat arts. The demon is also able to cast Incandescent Skin and attack opponents with fireballs.

  • Puissance – Increases the level of the summoned demon.
    • Renewal – Increases the demon’s lifepoints regeneration.
  • Enliven – The demon reduces spell casting time.
    • Ward – Reduces the impact and the weakening effects on the High Elf.
  • Modesty – When the demon is present, the Combat Arts regeneration penalty is reduced.
    • Puissance – Increases the level of the summoned demon.


Incandescent Skin (Buff)

The High Elf focuses on the ultimate control over all fire. She will become practically immune to burns and she will even be able to ignite incoming arrows while they are still in flight. Incandescent Skin cannot be used in conjunction with Crystal Skin.

  • Inferno – Increases the chance to set fire to opponent when they sustain fire damage.
    • Combusting Arrows – Chance that arrows may burn before they can inflict damage.
  • Energy Focus – Decreases the regeneration time of the aspect Arrant Pyromancer.
    • Revenge – Chance to reflect close combat damage.
  • Arrant Pyromancer Expertise – Further decreases the regeneration time for the Arrant Pyromancer aspect.
    • Fiery Ardor – Additionally increases fire damage.


Mystic Stormite



Frost Flare

A powerful frost blast is directed towards an opponent inflicting damage over time while temporarily decreasing the target’s movement rate.

  • Spell Flow – Significantly decreases the regeneration time of Frost Flare.
    • Freeze – Further reduces target’s movement rate.
  • Constraint – Reduces the opponent’s chance to hit successfully.
    • Frost – Additionally increases the ice damage over time.
  • Icy Circle – Freezes opponents within a significantly larger area around the target.
    • Perpetuity – Increases the duration of the freezing effects.


Glacial Thorns

The origins of this spell are unknown, yet it has existed in spell books for as long as anyone can remember. The High Elf Adept commands thorn-like splinters of ice and hurls them towards her enemy. A mere wave of her hand will either bundle the splinters into one burst or turn the burst of icicles into a nova blasting out in a circle with her at the center.

  • Fusillade – Increases the number of frozen thorns.
    • Frost – Increases damage inflicted by each frozen thorn.
  • Devastation – Increases the chance for critical hits.
    • Pierce – Chance that thorns will continue to spear forward after hitting a target.
  • Fusillade – Increases the number of frozen thorns.
    • Pierce – Chance that thorns will continue to spear forward after hitting a target.


Raging Nimbus

A raging blizzard sweeps across the target area damaging opponents with lightning and additionally slowing them down considerably.

  • Hurricane – Increases lightning frequency.
    • Wrath – Ice damage of lightning is increased.
  • Momentum – Further decreases movement speed of opponent caught in blizzard.
    • Roar – Reduces the attack value of affected opponents.
  • Cyclone – Increases the duration of the blizzard.
    • Extended Nimbus – Increases the radius of the blizzard.


Cascading Shroud

The High Elf becomes wisp-like in substance. Her fogged appearance makes her a difficult target for weapons, but increases her vulnerability to fire.

  • Faint – Reduces the probability of being struck by weapons.
    • Mist – Additionally reduces physical damage.
  • Intangible – Chance to fully resist root effects.
    • Inconspicuous – Reduces the chance to be detected by opponents.
  • Steam – Reduces the vulnerability to fire effects.
    • Facileness – Increases run speed while Cascading Shroud is active.


Crystal Skin (Buff)

Improves physical armor rating and provides ice damage mitigation from enemies. Slightly increases the regeneration speed of all combat arts within the aspect Mystic Stormite while the buff is active. Crystal Skin cannot be used in conjunction with Incandescent Skin.

  • Freeze – Slows movement rate of opponents in close combat range.
    • Glacial Mirror – Increases the chance to reflect incoming detrimental magical effects.
  • Feel Cold – Reduces the opponent’s resistance against ice damage.
    • Focalize – Increases the spell intensity of all 3 aspects and their combat arts.
  • Mystic Stormite Expertise – Decreases the regeneration time for the Mystic Stormite aspect.
    • Frosty Breeze – Additionally increases ice damage.


Delphic Arcania



Cobalt Strike

A powerful streak of lightning hits the opponent inflicting heavy magic damage. T-Energy beings will additionally suffer from damage over time.

  • Heavy Damage – Increases direct damage output.
    • Chain Reaction – 80% chance that the lightning will hit an additional opponent.
  • Electrify – Increases the chance to reduce the opponent’s attributes.
    • Chain Reaction – 80% chance that the lightning will hit an additional opponent.
  • Explosion – Damages additional opponents in the vicinity of the target.
    • Critical – Increases the chance to land critical hits.


Magic Coup

A magically enhanced weapon attack that converts physical into magic damage.

  • Target focus – Increases the chance that opponents cannot evade or parry incoming hits.
    • Heavy Damage – Increases damage bonus.
  • Life Leech – Leeches life from the target and adds it to the caster’s life.
    • Steal Mana – Steals combat art energy from opponents.
  • Critical – Increases the chance to land critical hits.
    • Stray Damage – Chance to hit nearby opponents.


Shadow Step

The High Elf steps into the shadows and teleports to a different location. There is a chance that nearby opponents remain stunned when the High Elf teleports away.

  • Phase Shift – Decreases the cooldown time of Shadow Step.
    • Escape – Chance to break all rooting effects while teleporting.
  • Vanish – The caster remains invisible for a brief period after the teleport.
    • Sanctuary – The caster is briefly invulnerable after the teleport.
  • Explosion – Inflicts AOE damage while teleporting.
    • Mend – Heals the caster during teleport.


Expulse Magic

Banishes weaker spells within its range and instills fear in nearby opponents.

  • Strength – Increases banishing potential but maintain the same effective radius.
    • Expansion – Increases effective radius but maintains the banishing potential.
  • Pentagram – Reduces the duration and impact of incoming weakening effects.
    • Banish Dead – Damages undead creatures within the radius of effectiveness.
  • Protection – Chance to block direct magical damage.
    • Banish Creation – Damages T-Energy creatures within the radius of effectiveness.


Grand Invigoration (Buff)

When active, hitpoints and spells will regenerate at an increased rate.

  • Arrant Pyromancer Expertise – The regeneration time for the aspect Arrant Pyromancer will decrease significantly.
    • Mystic Stormite Expertise – The regeneration time for the aspect Mystic Stormite will decrease significantly.
  • Replenish – Further decreases the regeneration time of all spells.
    • Life Energy – Additionally increases the hitpoint regeneration rate.
  • Resilience – Reduces the impact and duration of incoming detrimental effects.
    • Fleetness – Increases run speed while Grand Invigoration is active.
