The main new thing is a new dimension. You will experience the Edge of the Galaxy and arrive to Batuu a city where your sim’s epic journey starts. You will embark into some kind of RPG story with quests, missions, reputation farm and lots of rewards and other stuff.

Your sim will have to make several choices, which will influence the reaction of other sims’ on him. Thus you can befriend the Resistance or First Order and even meet Vi Moradi, Rey Skywalker, Kylo Ren or Hondo Ohnaka. It’s all up to you and only your sim is responsible for anything that happens in Batuu.

Another key feature is a lightsaber fighting, that will increase your athletics. You will need to find all the pieces to create your personal lightsaber. After that, you’ll be able to spar with other sims. But that’s not all, you can also exchange some scraps that you collect around Batuu for a personal droid. There are R- and BB-series and they will help you out on your missions.

As a result, you will return home, but not the sim you used to be. First of all, you’ll bring all the loot back home including the lightsaber and personal droid. But also you will bring knowledge (like skills or cooking recipes) and decor for your home.
