Currently, I decided to complete all the scenarios in The Sims 4. If you’re familiar with the series, you know that these scenarios exist. Maxis added them to the game about a year or more ago to make it more interesting for newcomers to learn the game, and for content creators to lure the audience. Once I tried to play the scenarios, but I quickly stopped because I don’t like it when the starting families live their lives in parallel with my family, but don’t get married or create new families. It pisses me off, but the developers still haven’t solved this problem. In fact, we can influence two Sims from different families to start building a relationship, and then they can get engaged, but that’s it, the game doesn’t marry them and doesn’t move them to the same house, which makes me very angry when I play scenarios.

Nevertheless, I created a separate save to play through all the scenarios in one world, so I could see how many dynasties would disappear because the developers didn’t give them a chance to procreate with each other. To begin with, I chose one of the easy trials called “Power Couple”.
The reward is just extra satisfaction points to buy new character traits. But more importantly, it teaches newcomers how to build a career and, if they are lucky, a relationship. For this scenario, you will need to create a family or choose from existing ones, but the couple doesn’t have to be relatives or even spouses – the system will marry them and assign them both a career in business. They must be young or adult characters, and there must be no more than two of them. Nothing else matters.
The story has three possible endings:
I decided not to walk through all of these endings, but to focus only on the one that is interesting and pleasant to me. I like it when everyone is happy, so this is the first option. But I’ll include tips for each scenario ending. If you have a question about how to understand whether your Sims are soul mates or not, I’ll answer it. If your partner has two intertwined hearts on the control panel with all your friends, then hover over it and you will see that they are soul mates. This occurs at high levels of friendship and love.
When you first download the scenario, after selecting the characters, you will be asked to choose the time of year (if you have the corresponding add-on) and the place to settle.
You will be married right away and start from the same position in your business careers. I recommend that you understand what your endgame will be at the moment of selecting character traits. To make it easier or harder for you to get along with each other. My characters are perfect for each other because they are both mercantile and love parties. This will be the basis for spending time together and maintaining their relationship at the highest levels.
This scenario is really very easy and doesn’t require you to complete any intermediate quests. So you can just enjoy the life of your characters for as long as you want. I wanted to complete it as quickly as possible, so I focused on speed and quality. The main task is to take the position of CEO in a business career. This is a branch of management, it requires the 8th level of charisma and the 6th level of logic. You can gradually improve these abilities so that the promotion process goes smoothly.
In this scenario, the tips are universal for all endings, because someone has to become CEO anyway and as soon as possible, and this is what the tips are aimed at – how to get a promotion in The Sims 4 as quickly as possible. But to make the relationship worse, you can flirt with other characters in front of your crush during parties. Or you can perform skill upgrades separately from each other, this distance will not lead to divorce, but the emotional connection will be lost. Or quarrel at every opportunity and divorce is not far off.
I combined the development of the charisma skill with the constant parties that my characters wanted to throw. To do this, you need to enable the ability to receive rewards for throwing parties, and then complete tasks to make the party as cool as possible. For this, you level up the charisma skill for both of them (if they are both hosts).
I improved my logic with the telescope. But you can go on dates in the park and play chess together, for example. This will allow you to maintain a good relationship and acquire logic skills at the same time. You can also take logic classes or read logic books. But don’t forget to combine the development of logic skills with sports or creativity, otherwise you will get burned out and block yourself from promotion!
Every career has these tasks. In addition, the tasks vary depending on the position. In the beginning, business employees have to fill out reports. For this, you will need at least some kind of computer.
In the picture above, you see that the character already holds the position of vice president, which entails another task – conducting work calls. Their time is from about 8 pm to 5 am.
A confident mood is exactly what is shown in the screenshot above. It can be achieved by making work calls, brushing your teeth, drinking a certain tea, etc. When you come to work in a confident mood, you will be able to flatter your boss, which will greatly increase your productivity and bring you closer to your dream promotion.
When you first get a job, go to the work section in the social media tab. All your colleagues are listed there. It’s very rare that you don’t have any. The game should automatically assign you co-workers if there are no other Sims with a job like yours.
After that, invite your colleagues somewhere and spend time together. I like to organize dances. Dancing and drinking with good jokes will bring anyone together… in The Sims.
To speed up the game, you can choose some character traits from the store, but you need to get satisfaction points by completing tasks to fulfill your sims’ goals. My spouses are always partying, so I went through the scenario as efficiently as possible.
The best solution for Power Couple scenario is the Entrepreneur character trait. It increases your chances of getting a promotion at work. So don’t forget to buy it as soon as you have 2000 satisfaction points.
And under no circumstances should you miss work or be late. You are only allowed to take an official vacation, but only if your character becomes stressed at work and this reduces his or her performance.
Which of the three endings you will have is decided at the time of promotion of one of the couple to the position of CEO. So if you want them to be soul mates, check it every night or before work. A regular good woohoo will guarantee that the relationship will remain strong forever! =)
And vice versa, don’t forget to quarrel or divorce before one of the couple is promoted to reach the other endings.
My power couple became a trio in the process because they wanted to multiply their love. This is allowed and doesn’t affect the scenario itself, as long as one of the characters doesn’t quit and becomes the CEO under any circumstances. What would be the ending of your sims?
