World of Warcraft Shadowlands Class and Covenant Abilities List

Previously we have written an article about the major changes that will be implemented into WoW after Shadowlands arrive. This time we will give you the full list of all new class abilities that you can get in a particular covenant. Covenant Signature Abilities Details

We remind you that there are four Covenants in Shadowlands:

  • Kyrian (at Bastion)
  • Night Fae (at Ardenweald)
  • Necrolord (at Maldraxxus)
  • Venthyr (at Revendreth)

You will have to make a lot of quests to open the opportunity to get the covenant ability. Moreover, you can choose only one covenant so you get only one extra ability for your class. Besides, class abilities each covenant offers signature abilities.

  • Kyrian
    • Summon Steward* – Instant Cast, 5 min cooldown. Call your steward to bring you a Phial of Serenity that can be consumed to restore 20% of your health and remove all Curse, Disease, Poison, and Bleed Effects. Your Steward additionally offers access to a selection of useful amenities for 4 min.
  • Venthyr
    • Door of Shadows – 35 yd range, 1.5 sec cast, 1 min cooldown. Wend through the shadows, appearing at the targeted location.
  • Necrolord
    • Fleshcraft – 10 yd range, Channeled (4 sec cast), 2 min cooldown. Form a shield of flesh and bone over 4 sec that absorbs damage equal to 20% of your maximum health for 2 min. Channelling near a corpse claims their essence to grow the shield, up to 50% of your maximum health. This is most effective against powerful enemies.
  • Night Fae
    • Soulshape – Instant Cast, 1.5 min cooldown. Turn into a Vulpin, teleporting 15 yds forward and increasing your movement speed by 50%. You may reactivate Soulshape every few sec to teleport again. Lasts 12 sec, or indefinitely while in a rest area.

*Summon Steward has a list of of additional amenities:

  • Bottomless Chalice: Your Steward also provides Phials of Serenity for your allies.
  • Darksight Orbs: Your Steward can now hunt for materials within Torghast.
  • Flail of Merkur: Your Steward’s Phial of Serenity refreshes the cooldown of Elysian Decree.
  • Flattered: Have your steward give a compliment to a friend!
  • Haven’s Breath: Your Steward’s Phial of Serenity refreshes the cooldown of Weapons of Order.
  • Kyrian Armaments: Summons a steward to retrieve the stolen item, gaining reputation with the denizens of Bastion.
  • Kyrian Warhelm: Your Steward’s Phial of Serenity refreshes the cooldown of Spear of Bastion.
  • Parliament Stone: Your Steward cheers you on, increasing your movement speed by 35%.
  • Phial of Light: Your Steward’s Phial of Serenity now restores an additional 40% of your health.
  • Phial of Mastery: Increase mastery by 50%.
  • Phial of Pain: Your Steward’s Phial of Serenity increases damage and healing by 40% for 15 sec.
  • Venerable Kyrian Defender: Summons a steward to retrieve the stolen item, gaining a large amount of reputation with the denizens of Bastion.

All signature abilities are the same for any class. But class covenant abilities are different and we made a list of them below.

Death Knight

  • Kyrian
    • Shackle the Unworthy: Admonish your target for their past transgressions, reducing the damage they deal to you by 5% and dealing (175% of Attack power) Arcane damage over 14 sec. While Shackle the Unworthy is active on an enemy, Each Rune spent with attacks reduces its cooldown by 4 sec.
  • Venthyr
    • Swarming Mist: A heavy mist surrounds you for 8 sec, increasing your Dodge by 10%. Deals (20% of Attack power) Shadow damage every 1 sec to enemies within 10 yds. Every time it deals damage you gain 3 Runic Power, up to a maximum of 15 Runic Power.
  • Necrolord
    • Abomination Limb: Sprout an additional limb for 12 sec. Every 1 sec, it deals (22.5% of Attack power) Shadow damage to all nearby enemies and pulls an enemy to your location if they are further than 8 yds from you.
  • Night Fae
    • Death’s Due*: Corrupts the targeted ground, causing [(3.6036% of Attack power) * 11] Shadow damage over 10 sec to targets within the area. Enemies damaged deal 1% reduced damage to you, up to a maximum of 15% and their power is transferred to you as an equal amount of Strength.

*Death’s Due:

  • Blood: While you remain within the area, your Necrotic Strike and Heart Strike will hit up to 0 additional targets. Scourge Strike will hit up to 4 enemies near the target.
  • Frost: Necrotic Strike and Scourge Strike will hit up to 4 enemies near the target.
  • Unholy: While you remain within the area, your Necrotic Strike and Scourge Strike will hit up to 4 enemies near the target.

Demon Hunter

  • Kyrian
    • Elysian Decree: Place a Kyrian Sigil at the target location that activates after 2 sec. Detonates to deal (132% of Attack power) Arcane damage and shatter up to 3 Lesser Soul Fragments from enemies affected by the sigil.
  • Venthyr
    • Sinful Brand: Brand an enemy with the mark of the Venthyr, reducing their melee attack speed by 30%, their casting speed by 30%, and inflicting (440% of Attack power) Shadow damage over 8 sec. Activating Metamorphosis applies Sinful Brand to all nearby enemies.
  • Necrolord
    • Fodder to the Flame: Commission a duel to the death against a Condemned Demon from the Theater of Pain. Vanquishing your foe releases its demon soul and creates a pool of demon blood that lasts for 30 sec. Fighting within the pool increases your attack speed by 20% and reduces the damage that enemies deal to you by 10%. Fleshcraft treats the Condemned Demon as a powerful enemy.
  • Night Fae
    • The Hunt: Charge to your target, striking them for (275% of Attack power) Nature damage, rooting them in place for 3 sec and inflicting [(15.95% of Attack power) * 6] Nature damage over 6 sec to any enemy in your path.trength. Pursuit invogorates your soul, healing you for 323802s2% of the damage you deal to your Hunt target for 1 min.

Druid

  • Kyrian
    • Kindred Spirits*: Form a bond with an ally. Every 1 min, you may empower the bond for 10 sec, granting you an effect based on your partner’s role, and granting them an effect based on your role.
  • Venthyr
    • Ravenous Frenzy: For 20 sec, Druid spells you cast increase your damage, healing, and haste by 2%, stacking. If you spend 1.5 sec idle, the Frenzy overcomes you, consuming 3% of your health per stack, stunning you for 1 sec, and ending.
  • Necrolord
    • Adaptive Swarm: Command a swarm that heals (126% of Spell power) or deals (120% of Spell power) Shadow damage over 12 sec to a target, and increases the effectiveness of your periodic effects on them by 20%. Upon expiration, jumps to a target within 25 yards, alternating between friend and foe up to 3 times.
  • Night Fae
    • Convoke the Spirits*: Call upon the Night Fae for an eruption of energy, channeling a rapid flurry of 12 Druid spells and abilities over 4 sec.

*Kindred Spirits:

  • Guardian Kindred Protection Protect your bonded partner, redirecting 40% of damage they take to you, unless you fall below 20% health.
  • Restoration Kindred Focus Focus on your bonded partner, replicating 30% of all healing you deal onto them.
  • Balance/FeralKindred Empowerment Energize your bonded partner, granting them 30% of your damage as additional Arcane damage, healing, or absorption.
  • Healer Partner: They focus on you, replicating 30% of all healing they deal onto you.
  • Damager Partner: They energize you, granting you 30% of their damage as additional Arcane damage, healing, or absorption.
  • Tank Partner: They protect you, redirecting 40% of damage you take to them, for 10 sec or until they fall below 20% health.

Lone Spirit
Form a connection with your inner self. Every 1 min, you may empower the connection for 10 sec, granting you an effect based on your role.

  • Guardian –  Lone Protection Connect with your inner spirit, reducing damage taken by 10% for 10 sec.
  • Restoration –  Lone Meditation Connect with your inner spirit, increasing healing done by 15% for 10 sec.
  • Balance/Feral –  Lone Empowerment Connect with your inner spirit, increasing damage done by 15% for 10 sec.

*Convoke the Spirits:

  • Balance: You will cast Starsurge, Starfall, Moonfire, Wrath, Regrowth, Rejuvenation, Rake and Thrash on appropriate nearby targets, favouring your current shapeshift form.
  • Feral, Guardian, Restoration: You will cast Wild Growth, Swiftmend, Moonfire, Wrath, Regrowth, Rejuvenation, Rake and Thrash on appropriate nearby targets, favouring your current shapeshift form.

Hunter

  • Kyrian
    • Resonating Arrow: Fire a resonating arrow to the target location that fills the area with echoing anima for 10 sec. The effect causes your attacks to ignore line of sight to enemies in the area, and you have 30% increased critical strike chance against them.
  • Venthyr
    • Flayed Shot: Fire a shot at your enemy, causing them to bleed for (250% of Attack power) Shadow damage over 20 sec. Each time Flayed Shot deals damage, you have a 15% chance to gain Flayer’s Mark, causing your next Kill Shot to be usable on any target, regardless of their current health.
  • Necrolord
    • Death Chakram: Throw a deadly chakram at your current target that will rapidly deal (50% of Attack power) Shadow damage 7 times, bouncing to other targets if they are nearby. Each time the chakram deals damage, its damage is increased by 15% and you generate 3 Focus.
  • Night Fae
    • Wild Spirits: Evoke the energy of Wild Spirits at the target location, applying Wild Mark to all enemy targets within the area for 15 sec, increasing damage you deal to them by 5%. While the Wild Spirits are active, each damaging ability you use against a target affected by the Wild Mark strikes the target for (45% of Attack power) Nature damage.

Mage

  • Kyrian
    • Radiant Spark: Conjure a radiant spark that causes (76% of Spell power) Arcane damage instantly, and an additional (29.6% of Spell power) damage over 8 sec. The target takes 10% increased damage from your direct damage spells, stacking each time they are struck. This effect ends after 4 spells.
  • Venthyr
    • Mirrors of Torment: Conjure 3 mirrors to torment the enemy for 20 sec. Whenever the target casts a spell or ability, a mirror is consumed to inflict (75% of Spell power) Shadow damage and their movement and cast speed are slowed by 15%. The final mirror will instead inflict (198% of Spell power) Shadow damage to the enemy, Rooting and Silencing them for 4 sec.
  • Necrolord
    • Deathborne: Transform into a powerful skeletal mage for 20 sec. While in the form of a skeletal mage, your Frostbolt, Fireball, and Arcane Blast hit up to 2 enemies near your target and your spell damage is increased by 10%.
  • Night Fae
    • Shifting Power: Draw power from the ground beneath, dealing [(60% of Spell power) * 6 / 1.5] Nature damage over 6 sec to enemies within 15 yds. While channeling, your Mage ability cooldowns are reduced by (– 3000 / 1000) sec every 1.5 sec.

Monk

  • Kyrian
    • Weapons of Order*: For the next 30 sec, your Mastery is increased by 10 – 41.9999981% and you gain additional buffs.
  • Venthyr
    • Fallen Order*: Opens a mystic portal for 24 sec. Every 2 sec, it summons a spirit of your order’s fallen Ox, Crane, or Tiger adepts for 6 sec. Fallen [Ox][Crane][Tiger] adepts assist for an additional 2 sec, and will also [attack your enemies with Breath of Fire][heal with Enveloping Mist][assault with Fists of Fury].
  • Necrolord
    • Bonedust Brew*: Hurl a brew created from the bones of your enemies at the ground, coating all targets struck for 10 sec.  Your abilities have a 35% chance to affect the target a second time at 35% effectiveness as Shadow damage or healing.
  • Night Fae
    • Faeline Stomp*: Strike the ground fiercely to expose a faeline for 30 sec, dealing (91% of Attack power) Nature damage. Your abilities have a 6% chance of resetting the cooldown of Faeline Stomp while fighting on a faeline.

*Weapons of Order:

  • Brewmaster: Keg Smash cooldown is reset, and enemies hit by Keg Smash take 5% increased damage from you, stacking up to 5 times.
  • Mistweaver: Essence Font cooldown is reset instantly and heals up to 6 nearby allies for (30% of Spell power) health on channel start and end.
  • Windwalker: Rising Sun Kick cooldown is reset instantly, and your Rising Sun Kick reduces the cost of your Chi abilities by 1 for 5 sec.

*Fallen Order:

  • Fallen Ox adepts assist for an additional 2 sec, and will also attack your enemies with Breath of Fire.
  • Fallen Crane adepts assist for an additional 2 sec, and will also heal with Enveloping Mist.
  • Fallen Tiger adepts assist for an additional 2 sec, and will also assault with Fists of Fury.

*Bonedust Brew:

  • Mistweaver: Mastery: Gust of Mists heals targets with your Bonedust Brew active for an additional (42% of Attack power)
  • Brewmaster: Tiger Palm and Keg Smash reduces the cooldown of your brews by an additional 1 sec. when striking enemies with your Bonedust Brew active
  • Windwalker: Spinning Crane Kick refunds 1 Chi when striking enemies with your Bonedust Brew active

*Faeline Stomp:

  • Brewmaster: Igniting enemies with Breath of Fire.
  • Mistweaver: healing allies with an Essence Font bolt.
  • Windwalker: Ripping Chi and Energy Spheres out of enemies.

Paladin

  • Kyrian
    • Divine Toll: Instantly cast Holy Shock, Avenger’s Shield, or Judgment on up to 5 targets within 30 yds (based on your current specialization).
  • Venthyr
    • Ashen Hallow: Hallow the target area for 30 sec. Enemies in the area suffer up to [(55% of Spell power) * 30 / 2] Shadow damage, and allies are healed for up to [(42% of Spell power) * 30 / 2], reduced if there are more than 5 targets. Within the Hallow, you may use Hammer of Wrath on any target, and its damage is increased by 100%.
  • Necrolord
    • Vanquisher’s Hammer*: Throws a hammer at your target dealing (112% of Spell power) Shadow damage, and empowering your next ability.
  • Night Fae
    • Blessing of the Seasons*: Bless your party members with the aspect of one of the seasons, lasting for a short time or until you advance to the next season.

*Vanquisher’s Hammer:

  • Retribution: Throws a hammer at your target dealing (112% of Spell power) Shadow damage, and empowering your next Templar’s Verdict to automatically trigger Divine Storm.
  • Holy: Throws a hammer at your target dealing (112% of Spell power) Shadow damage, and empowering your next Word of Glory to automatically trigger Light of Dawn.
  • Protection: Throws a hammer at your target dealing (112% of Spell power) Shadow damage, and empowering your next Word of Glory to automatically trigger Shield of the Righteous.

*Blessing of the Seasons:

  • Blessing of Spring. Bless an ally for 30 sec, increasing their healing is done and healing received by 10%.
    • Blessing of the Seasons: Turns to Summer after use. 15-sec cooldown.
  • Blessing of Summer. Bless an ally for 30 sec, causing their attacks to have a 40% chance to deal 30% additional damage as Holy.
    • Blessing of the Seasons: Turns to Autumn after use. 15-sec cooldown.
  • Blessing of Autumn. Bless an ally for 30 sec, causing their cooldowns to recover 30% faster.
    • Blessing of the Seasons: Turns to Winter after use. 15-sec cooldown.
  • Blessing of Winter. Bless an ally for 30 sec. Their attacks deal [5 / 100 * max(Attack power, Spell power) * (1 + Versatility)] Frost damage and reduce enemies’ movement speed by 3% and their attack speed by 2%, stacking 10 times.
    • Blessing of the Seasons: Turns to Spring after use. 15-sec cooldown.

Priest

  • Kyrian
    • Boon of the Ascended*: Draw upon the power of the Ascended for 10 sec, granting you access to Ascended Nova, replacing your spell with Ascended Blast, and increasing movement speed by 50%. Upon expiration, releases an Ascended Eruption: Explode for up to (352% of Spell power) Arcane damage to enemies and (222% of Spell power) healing to allies within 15 yds, based on number of targets. Damage and healing increased by 3% for each stack of Boon of the Ascended.
  • Venthyr
    • Mindgames*: Assault an enemy’s mind, dealing (300% of Spell power) Shadow damage and briefly reversing their perception of reality.
  • Necrolord
    • Unholy Nova: An explosion of dark energy infects enemies within 15 yds with Unholy Transfusion, and heals up to 6 allies for (119% of Spell power). Unholy Tranfusion: Deals (250% of Spell power) Shadow damage over 15 sec. Allies who damage this target are healed for (4% of Spell power).
  • Night Fae
    • Fae Guardians*: Call forth three faerie guardians to attend your targets for 20 sec. Wrathful Faerie: Direct attacks against the target restore 0.5% Mana or 3 Insanity. Follows your Shadow Word: Pain. Guardian Faerie: Reduces damage taken by 10%. Follows your Power Word: Shield. Benevolent Faerie: Increases the cooldown recovery rate of a major ability by 100%. Follows your specialization.

*Boon of the Ascended:

Shadow: Draw upon the power of the Ascended for 10 sec, granting access to  Ascended Nova, replacing Mind Flay with Ascended Blast and increasing your movement speed by 50%. Upon expiration, releases an Ascended Eruption.
Discipline and Holy: Draw upon the power of the Ascended for 10 sec, granting access to Ascended Nova, replacing Smite with Ascended Blast and increasing your movement speed by 50%. Upon expiration, releases an Ascended Eruption.

  • Ascended Nova Release a powerful burst of anima, dealing (69% of Spell power) Arcane damage to all enemies and (38% of Spell power) healing to up to 6 allies within 8 yds.
    Grants 1 stack of Boon of the Ascended for each target damaged.
  • Ascended Blast Blasts the enemy with pure Anima, causing (260% of Spell power) Arcane damage and healing a nearby ally for 100% of the damage done.
    Grants 5 stacks of Boon of the Ascended.
    Generates 6 Insanity
  • Ascended Eruption Explode for up to (352% of Spell power) Arcane damage to enemies and (222% of Spell power) healing to allies within 15 yds, based on a number of targets. Damage and healing increased by 3% for each stack of Boon of the Ascended.

*Mindgames:

  • Shadow: Reversed damage and healing generate up to 20 Insanity.
  • Discipline and Holy: restores up to 4% mana.

*Fae Guardians:

  • Holy: Benevolent Faerie: Increases the cooldown recovery rate of a major ability by 100%. Follows your Flash Heal.
  • Discipline, Shadow: Benevolent Faerie: Increases the cooldown recovery rate of a major ability by 100%. Follows your Shadow Mend.

Rogue

  • Kyrian
    • Echoing Reprimand: Deal (60% of Attack power) Arcane damage to an enemy, extracting their anima to Animacharge a combo point. Damaging finishing moves that consume the same number of combo points as your Animacharge deal damage as if they consume 7 combo points. Awards 3 combo point.
  • Venthyr
    • Slaughter: Slaughter the target, causing (95.472% of Attack power) Physical damage.  The target’s anima mixes with your lethal poison, coating your weapons for the next 5 minutes. Slaughter Poison deals Shadow damage over 12 sec. and steals 15% of healing done to the target. Awards 2 combo point.
  • Necrolord
    • Serrated Bone Spike: Embed a bone spike in the target, dealing (60% of Attack power) Bleed damage every 3 sec until they die. Deals (60% of Attack power) damage and generates 1 Combo Point per active bone spike. Refunds 1 charge when target dies or is healed to full. Awards 1 combo point.
  • Night Fae
    • Sepsis: Infect the target’s blood, dealing (125.3% of Attack power) Nature damage over 10 sec. If the target survives its full duration, they suffer an additional [(12.53% of Attack power) * 25] damage and you Vanish from sight. Cooldown reduced by 60 sec if Sepsis does not last its full duration.

Shaman

  • Kyrian
    • Vesper Totem: Summon a totem at the target location for 30 sec. Your next 3 damage spells or abilities will cause the totem to radiate (95% of Spell power) Arcane damage to up to 6 enemies near the totem, and your next 3 healing spells will heal up to 6 allies near the totem for (85% of Spell power) health. Casting this ability again while the totem is active will relocate the totem.
  • Venthyr
    • Chain Harvest: Send a wave of anima at the target, which then jumps to additional nearby targets. Deals (345% of Spell power) Shadow damage to up to 5 enemies, and restores (255.5% of Spell power) health to up to 5 allies. For each target critically struck, the cooldown of Chain Harvest is reduced by 5 sec.
  • Necrolord
    • Primordial Wave*: Blast your target with a Primordial Wave, dealing (65% of Spell power + 65% of Attack power) Shadow damage and apply Flame Shock to an enemy, or heal an ally for. Your next  ability will also hit all targets affected by your spells.
  • Night Fae
    • Fae Transfusion: Transfer the life force of up to 4 enemies in the targeted area, dealing [(69% of Spell power) * 3 / 0.5] Nature damage to each enemy over 3 sec. Pressing Fae Transfusion again within 20 sec will release 15% of all damage from Fae Transfusion, healing up to 8 allies near yourself.

*Primordial Wave:

  • Elemental: Blast your target with a Primordial Wave, dealing (65% of Spell power + 65% of Attack power) Shadow damage and apply Flame Shock to an enemy or heal an ally for (65% of Spell power + 65% of Attack power). Your next Lava Burst will also hit all targets affected by your Flame Shock.
  • Enhancement: Blast your target with a Primordial Wave, dealing (65% of Spell power + 65% of Attack power) Shadow damage and apply Flame Shock to an enemy or heal an ally for (65% of Spell power + 65% of Attack power). Your next Lightning Bolt will also hit all targets affected by your Riptide.
  • Restoration: Blast your target with a Primordial Wave, dealing (65% of Spell power + 65% of Attack power) Shadow damage and apply Flame Shock to an enemy or heal an ally for (65% of Spell power + 65% of Attack power) and apply Riptide to them.
    Your next Healing Wave will also hit all targets affected by your Riptide.

Warlock

  • Kyrian
    • Scouring Tithe: Deal (100% of Spell power) Arcane damage instantly, and (144% of Spell power) over 18 sec. If the enemy dies while affected by Scouring Tithe, you generate 5 Soul Shard. If they survive, Scouring Tithe’s cooldown is refreshed.
  • Venthyr
    • Impending Catastrophe: Call forth a cloud of chaotic anima that travels to the target enemy, dealing (100% of Spell power) Shadow damage to enemies in its path. When the anima reaches the target it explodes, inflicting either Curse of Weakness or Curse of Tongues, and dealing (261% of Spell power) Shadow damage over 12 sec to all nearby enemies.
  • Necrolord
    • Decimating Bolt*: Hurl bolts of decimating magic at your target, dealing [4 * (50% of Spell power)] Shadow damage and increasing the damage of your next 3 spells.
  • Night Fae
    • Soul Rot: Wither away all life force of your current target and up to 3 additional targets nearby, causing them to suffer (100% of Spell power) Nature damage over 8 sec. yourself. For the next 8 sec, casting Drain Life will cause you to also Drain Life from any enemy affected by your Soul Rot, and Drain Life will not consume any mana. Consumes 20% of maximum health when cast.

*Decimating Bolt:

Shadow damage and increasing the damage of your next Incinerate, Drain Soul, or Shadow Bolt by 200%. Decimation Bolt’s damage, and the bonus to Incinerate, Drain Soul, or Shadow Bolt both increase as your target’s health decreases.

Warrior

  • Kyrian
    • Spear of Bastion: Throw a Kyrian spear at the target location, dealing (110% of Attack power) Arcane damage instantly and an additional (120% of Attack power) damage over 4 sec. Deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets. Enemies hit are tethered to Spear of Bastion’s location for the duration. Generates 25 Rage.
  • Venthyr
    • Condemn: Condemn a foe to suffer for their sins, causing up to [2.0 * (92.2% of Attack power)] Shadow damage. Only usable on enemies who are above 80% health or below 20% health. The primary target is weakened, preventing up to [(0.6 * Attack power) * 2.0 * (1 + Versatility)] damage they would deal to you.
  • Necrolord
    • Conqueror’s Banner: Plant the Conqueror’s Banner in the ground, granting 20% maximum health and 10% critical strike chance to you and 2 allies within 15 yds of the banner for 20 sec. While active, spending 20-30 Rage and killing enemies grants you Glory. Glory increases your critical strike damage by 1% per stack, up to 30%, for 30 sec.
  • Night Fae
    • Ancient Aftershock: Unleash a wave of anima, dealing (220% of Attack power) Nature damage to up to 5 enemies and knocking them down for 1.5 sec. The ground will continue to expel anima, dealing [4 * (35% of Attack power)] Nature damage to up to 5 enemies and generating 16 Rage per enemy over 12 sec. Every 3 sec, targets are briefly knocked down.
