WoW Burning Crusade Classic Caverns of Time Attunements Guide

In World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic, you cannot enter any dungeon easily because some of them need special keys to unlock them. In this post, you will learn more about WoW Burning Crusade Classic Caverns of Time Attunements including heroic keys.

There are fifteen dungeons in WoW Burning Crusade classic all of them can be grouped by location. We have designed the table where you can clearly see the names of TBC dungeons, the areas of their location, which faction these dungeons are associated with and the names of the keys you need to get to the heroic of these dungeons.

WoW Burning Crusade Classic Instances by Level

It is important to note that the level ranges below are for dungeons on Normal mode. All dungeons on Heroic difficulty require and are meant for level 70s.

You will see below dungeons attunements grouped by area of location, but within its group, we will put them from the lowest required level to the highest.

Caverns of Time Dungeons Attunements

In the middle of the Caverns of Time you’ll find entrances to two different dungeons:

• Old Hillsbrad Foothills
• The Black Morass

All of them have different requirements to enter. If we are talking about Normal difficulty dungeons in Caverns of Time Dungeons all you need is to have the minimum required level to enter. But Heroic dungeons unlock when you get attuned to enter them. We will tell you more about each of the attunements below.

Old Hillsbrad Foothills Dungeon Attunement

Old Hillsbrad Foothills ranges from levels 66-68 on Normal Mode, with Heroic Mode meant for level 70s. There are three bosses located inside: Lieutenant Drake, Captain Skarloc, and the final boss Epoch Hunter. The associated faction with Old Hillsbrad Foothills is Keepers of Time.

Old Hillsbrad Foothills can be found in the Southeast part of Tanaris.

Note: Blizzard has confirmed that Zephyr will not be available to teleport players in Phase 1

If you are Revered with the Keepers of Time, you can get to the Caverns of Time faster. Speak with Zephyr in Shattrath City’s World’s End Tavern. She offers a free teleport to the Caverns of Time in Tanaris if you meet said requirements. After being teleported, players will spawn directly in front of the Steward of Time who will then escort you down into the Caverns of Time.

As for the Attunement, your character needs to be at least level 66 to enter Normal Old Hillsbrad Foothills.

Old Hillsbrad Foothills Heroic Dungeon Attunement

Each Heroic dungeon mode requires a special heroic key to open it. Below you can see the requirements to enter Old Hillsbrad Foothills Heroic Dungeon.

Required Level: 70.

The Heroic Key: Key of Time

To enter Heroic Dungeon mode, you’ll need to be level 70, and must obtain the Heroic key for each dungeon hub. For Caverns of Time, once a player reaches Revered with Keepers of Time, they can purchase the Heroic Key: Key of Time from the Reputation Quartermaster, Alurmi. The Black Morass Dungeon Attunement

The Black Morass (also known as Opening of the Dark Portal) is a level 70 dungeon on both Normal and Heroic modes. Players will zone in and must progress through a timed event in which 18 Time Rifts will open, with bosses appearing at Waves 6, 12 and 18. Players must kill the mobs and bosses that spawn, before they get to Medivh and damage his protective shield. If Medivh’s shield gets to 0%, you won’t be able to complete the dungeon. Additionally, the instance events will not begin until players step in close proximity to Medivh.

As players enter the instance, they will pass Sa’at, who will offer a Chrono-beacon to players that initiate a dialogue with him. This can be used once to summon a Time Keeper that will assist players in closing the Time Rifts by casting Sand Breath. Note that the three bosses: Chrono Lord Deja, Temporus, and Aeonus appear to be immune to Sand Breath. The associated faction with The Black Morass is Keepers of Time.

The Black Morass can be found in the Southeast part of Tanaris.
