Genshin Impact 2.1 New Characters and Weapons

The next part of Genshin Impact has been announced. Patch 2.1 will bring along much interesting content including new characters. There will be three of them and all will be released during September 2021. The release of the Genshin Impact 2.1 patch is scheduled for 1st September 2021. The same date is the release of Reign of Serenity event wish that unlocks two new characters. Read more in the post below.

Genshin Impact 2.1 New Characters

They’re going to be three new characters in Genshin Impact 2.1:

• Raiden Shogun Baal (Electro) 5-star
• Kujou Sara (Electro) 4-star
• Sangonomiya Kokomi (Hydro) 5-star

These three upcoming Genshin Impact characters will release in different event wishes. The first wish is Reign of Serenity releases on 1st September with two characters Raiden Shogun and Kujou Sara. After that, there will be another event called Drifting Luminescence that releases on 21st September with Sangonomiya Kokomi.

After the event wish ends, the 4-star character “Crowfeather Kaburaya” Kujou Sara Baal (Electro) will be available in the standard Wish “Wanderlust Invocation” in Version 2.2.

It is also worth mentioning that an upcoming collaboration and crossover character (Aloy 5-star Cryo) between Guerrilla Games and miHoYo is also coming in Genshin 2.1. But Aloy will be released for a limited time in Version 2.1 on PlayStation and Version 2.2 on all other devices.

Genshin Impact 2.1 New Weapons

AS usual, players can expect new weapons in Genshin Impact 2.1:

• Engulfing Lightning – 5-star polearm
• Everlasting Moonglow – 5-star catalyst
• Luxurious Sea-Lord – 4-Star Claymore
• “The Catch” – 4-Star Polearm
• Predator – 4-Star Bow
  • Predator is only obtainable by PSN players. Other platforms can only obtain the weapon through cross save but without the weapon passive effect.
