What is most important when you make a team comp in Genshin Impact is to remember that your characters must work together. Their talents need to assist each other and only via reactions. Some characters have talents that will change the whole impression about them when you see their talents.
Like any other character, Klee has two types of talents – active and passive. The whole description of Klee skills (talents) you can read via the link. In this post, we focus on the basic strategies and will explain what Klee talents are worth paying attention to. Let’s start with talent priority for Klee.
Kaboom! is Klee’s Normal Attack. She throws things that go boom when they hit things! Perform up to 3 explosive attacks, dealing AoE Pyro DMG. If charged consumes a certain amount of Stamina and deals AoE Pyro DMG to opponents after a short casting time. And on plunging attack gathering the power of Pyro, Klee plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Pyro DMG upon impact with the ground.
Sparks ‘n’ Splash is Klee’s Elemental Burst. Klee’s Blazing Delight! For the duration of this ability, continuously summons Sparks ‘n’ Splash to attack nearby opponents, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.
Jumpy Dumpty is Klee’s Elemental Skill. When thrown, Jumpy Dumpty bounces thrice, igniting and dealing AoE Pyro DMG with every bounce. On the third bounce, the bomb splits into many mines. The mines will explode upon contact with opponents, or after a short period of time, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.

When Klee’s Charged Attack results in a CRIT, all party members gain 2 Elemental Energy.

As for the constellations. Klee is one of the characters who is not dependent on constellations. Of course, they make her stronger and less squishy, but they are not a must. You will be able to build a decent Klee build even on C0.
There are several roles that all characters obtain in Genshin Impact. Your perfect team would consist of the Main DPS, 2 SUB-DPS characters and one Support. Main DPS is occupied by a character that can deal a decent amount of damage from all sources, auto attacks, elemental reactions and elemental bursts. Sub DPSs are needed to activate reactions that boost the main DPS’ damage or deal some extra damage while the main DPS is sticking their elemental burst. Support can vary typically it is a healer/shielder, but in some cases, it can be a battery (the character that stacks elemental burst for the team) or a spreader (the character that can spread reactions activated by all the characters).
Klee normally is the main DPS but she can also be useful as a sub-DPS character. Below you can see some options for different Genshin Impact Klee team comps that we find decent. But let’s start from the Genshin Impact free-to-play Klee team comp.
Klee would be the main DPS, Xiangling is here to boost her damage from Pyro resonance. Barbara will apply Hydro for vaporize reaction, which is one of the most powerful in Genshin Impact. As for the Anemo traveller, we recommend it for control and swirl reaction.
If you prefer ranged characters you can change Xiangling for Amber. And instead of an Anemo traveller, you can use Kaeya to get a melt reaction with his Elemental Burst.
Klee is a caster with Pyro damage. Her elemental skill and charged attacks can deal a serious amount of damage, especially with Hydro which triggers vaporize effect. Mona is a source of Hydro and also can taunt enemies. Thanks to Mona’s Elemental Burst Klee can deal even more damage. Sucrose is a must to group enemies and provide increased Vaporized damage with her whole party Elemental Mastery buff. Bennett is good support for Klee because she needs healing and also Bennett increased attack damage and activate Pyro resonance.
This team might seem strange, but with this huge help from reactions that provide Yelan, Kazuha, and Ganyu Klee will deal tons of damage. On the other hand, you don’t have a healer or defender. But you might not need it as you can deal a lot of damage just by spamming the abilities of these characters on the swaps.
This is a good team where Klee is a strong main DPS. Xingqiu provides Hydro for vaporize reaction and some healing. Kazuha controls and swirls. Bennett heals, buffs and activated Pyro resonance.
One more premium team for Klee. You already know that Kazuha is good for control and swirl, but in combination with Jean, they activate Anemo resonance and increase attack speed. In addition, Jean heals. Mona can distract enemies and provide Hydro for vaporize reaction.
The characters from the list above are also good to play with Klee. This is not a team as you understand, but you can change some missing characters from the builds we recommended with these characters.
