New World is an upcoming MMORPG created by Amazon Game Studios. Developers will take us to the open world with the atmosphere of the 17th-century South American colonies. We will feel the way people lived then and what their beliefs were. In this post, you will see the answers to the most popular questions about New World.

When is New World release date?

The New World release date is 28th September 2021.

Where can I play New World?

You can pre-order or purchase New World for PC only. You can get it on:

• Steam
• Amazon

Note that you do not need an Amazon account in order to play New World. You will need a Steam account to launch the game. For now, there are no other options for playing New World.

What is New World price?

There are two editions for purchasing New World – standard and deluxe. Both are available on Steam and Amazon. Unfortunately, the Steelbook edition is now out of stock and will not appear any time soon. There is also a pre-order bonus for buying New World now. You can see all the details below.

New World Pre-order Bonus

Irrespective of the edition for pre-ordering New World you get the same bonus as described below:

• Isabella’s amulet. Equip Isabella’s amulet to gain additional constitution to weather attacks and deal additional damage against certain types of supernatural enemies.
• Unique title. Proudly display your “Expedition One” title as part of the initial wave of explorers to hit Aeternum’s shores.
• Emote. Greet your fellow adventurers with the Fist Bump emote.

How do I cancel my pre-order?

You can cancel your pre-order at any time on Steam by going through the standard refund flow. Information on that process can be found here. To cancel your pre-order on Amazon, simply go to Your Games and Software Library and click Cancel Pre-order.

What is New World?

New World is an Open World MMO set on the fictional and supernatural island of Aeternum in the 17th century. Where players can play and progress how they want. Players can create builds customized to their preference through our Weapon Mastery, Attributes, and Endless Tradeskill Progression systems and all of it without classes.

When and how you progress is up to you: each gathered plant, tanned hide, slain foe, or completed quest will make you better at the particular skill or weapon you’re using and will also contribute to your overall character level.

As you journey, you’ll find creatures, plants, stones, and other resources that have been altered by the magic of Aeternum. Most important is the precious Azoth, a strange blue substance that seems to be magic given form.

Wretched once-human creatures, twisted by centuries of death and revival, infest Aeternum—the Corrupted, the Ancient, and the Lost. They and the Angry Earth, strange beings that seem more plant than animal, each have their own plans for the island and its magic.

Aeternum’s mysteries run as deep and dark as its history. Delve into the world and uncover the secret truth of the island and its millennia of strange inhabitants.

At the core of the social side of New World are the three factions, organizations of like-minded players and non-player characters with their own motives and schemes for the island’s future.

Within each faction, players can form or join groups called companies. Your faction choice will determine who you fight with and against in PvP and can confer benefits if your faction or company controls settlements and territories.
