Path of Exile: Best Builds List

Path of Exile is a game where your success depends on the build you choose for your character. There are seven different classes in PoE and each of them has at least three ascendancy classes, which makes the game more variable and complicated at the same time. That’s why we have decided to make the list of the best builds for Path of Exile that can help you play any class at any time.

Builds by Class

These Path of Exile best builds lists consists of descriptions and links to detailed builds. You can use navigation by clicking on the portraits above and below. All builds are adjusted to the current PoE league and 3.16 patch. We will modify it as any changes hit the game.

Duelist

Slayer Builds

[Melee] Devon’s Pure Phys Crit-Cyclone
About this build:
“Simple, Spin to win and crit! The most important interaction is of course criting while wielding a Starforge. Since we’re purely physical the slayer ascendancy allows 100% physical reflect immunity. With that we’re able to do most map mods without having to worry about any form of reflect. The other notable difference from other builds is the use of Impresence where our Vulnerability + Blasphemy setup becomes free.”

[Melee] KissMeQuick’s Slayer Reave: REBORN
About this build:
“Ths is your rare opportunity to play a build which can handle the hardest content in the game without breaking the bank! The build has evolved through hundreds of patches – always capable of playing the hardest content cheap, fast and safe! Once you start with this build and progress your character, you’ll finally experience how it really feels to play a power demon build which is not based on deceptive language, unrealistic gear or hidden PoB tricks.”

[Melee] Konsta’s Slayer Double Strike Starter
About this build:
“This Build is being updated for 3.14. I designed this build for 3.9 Metamorph league. Since it was a bow league itemization was a lot more expensive for bows so I opted for melee. Double strike duelist is an old concept and I’ve started with similar build twice before. I can vouch that it is fast and effective on minimal investment. While not designed for HC, the defences are solid and a lot of content can be simply facetanked. I’m not a HC player myself, but anything is a HC build if you’re brave enough :)”

Gladiator Builds

[Melee] Blazer’s Glad Flicker/Cyclone God
About this build:
“Are you tired of dying? Are you sick from slow builds? do you wish for a build that has insane clear speed but also crazy high DPS? do you wanna go AFK in the middle of a pack of monsters and get back to find them dead at your feet? Then this build is definitely for you!. With this build, you can literary clear, kill, eliminate, and destroy everything the game has to offer! best part is, all this on 5L!”

[Melee] Poisom’s The BLOCKMAN Cyclone Gladiator
About this build:
“This build is perfect for a league that you will need to survive to fight a full ritual encounter to get more loot and facing up to 10 bosses at once. Can be done as league starter , can easily run all maps with rare gear you can check it doing conqueror’s on low budget in the videos.”

[Melee] Igorkugan’s Bleed Earthquake Gladiator
About this build:
“If you looking for a Tanky build with high damage and budget-friendly, you’ve come to the right place. Build doesn’t require any unique items, making it great League Starter.”

[Melee] strTrader’s Block Bleed Lacerate Gladiator
About this build:
“As the title suggests, this build is centered around Gladiator Ascendancy for Duelist, using Lacerate as main damage skill and max attack/spell block as defense. We will be using axe and shield to take advantage of their inherent bleed damage.”

Champion Builds

[Melee] Bergerbrush’s Impale Cyclone Champion
About this build:
“Welcome to the Facetanking Impale Cyclone Champion Build! I made several versions for newer players and for experts, so everyone can easily understand why we make certain choices and what different mechanics means for this Build. All information necessary to go from Level 1 to reach Endgame will be heavily detailed. Let’s start very simple by talking about some general information about the character!”

[Melee] OMFGaTaco’s Versatile Combatant Impale Shield Crush Champion
About this build:
“This Shield Crush build is intended as a starter build for all types of players, including those brand new to the game. This build can currently scale into a character that can reasonably do all endgame content utilizing easy to get gear, reliable scaling, and large amounts of safety. Because of this, the build is also SSF and HC friendly due to the adaptable options to prioritize defenses over raw damage. This build is comprehensive and breaks down nearly every aspect of the build including mechanic breakdowns, upgrade options, crafting steps to make your own endgame gear, alternative options to make this build your own, examples of gear that you should be aiming for, and video demonstrations of endgame content. This build has options for all three Duelist Ascendancies, but due to the difficulty of Scourge League, currently has a focus on the Champion version.”

[Melee] Davydavidsson’s Doryani’s Prototype Armour Champion
About this build:
“I personally also feel very content with this build, and it arguably might just be the greatest build I’ve come up with so far, so I’ve decided to make this little write-up. This build aims to maximize armour through aura stacking to scale damage with Replica Dreamfeather and to offset the downside of Doryani’s Prototype for a versatile build that is both tanky and aggressive in both map clearing and boss fights.”

[Ranged] Brunowa’s Toxic Rain Champion
About this build:
“I created Lightee’s build in Standard and made some tweaks to make it more relevant to most players as Lightee focuses on HC. I have made it have more DPS while still keeping great defence which would be better for most softcore players. End-Game Clear, DESTROY content with a single click!”

[Minion] Peterrabbit’s Fortified Summoner Champion
About this build:
“I made this build because I really enjoy the low-stress ease and dependability of the champion spec, and wanted to see if a 35k+ armour, perma-fortify melee class could make a summoner playstyle work. This build is extremely tanky and forgiving, and just as importantly FUN to play, with an absolute minimum of the random deaths that are so frustrating in higher level content. We are melee after all, taking large hits to the face comes with the territory!”

Marauder

Juggernaut Builds

[Melee] Hybrid’s Molten Strike Jugg
About this build:
“I tried many kind of builds when i started playing POE but was never fully satisfied. So i decided to create one by myself that fill my needs. Being tanky isnt enough, i also wanted the build to feel smooth and nice for clearing, so attack speed helps for both. At this point i felt the build is in a good state and decided to share it in the forum so i released my Molten Strike Juggernaut!”

[Melee] HeroEvermore’s Ice Crash-Jugg-2h-AxeVersion
About this build:
“I saw the new Ice Crash coming in 3.11 and decided to make a crit focused build to freeze the game. Inspired by Fleshripper Axe and free Ice Crash conversion. While most went Earthquake builds I saw huge advantage to the AoE with Ice Crash being able to protect you better while Chilling and Freezing. I really never expected my damage to get to these numbers and have been overjoyed by the private messages and thoughts about the build!”

[Melee] Corosou’s Boneshatter Jugg
About this build:
“The build relies on a cheap Replica Wings of Entropy, Physical Damage and a +1 Curse Marylene’s amulet for Multiple Curses (Normal Mobs: Vulnerability + Warlord’s Mark | Rare/Unique Mobs: Vulnerability + Assassin’s Mark). This Curse setup is not necessary, just nice to have. With the changes to the 3.16 tree the build now has 80% Max Fire and 79% Max Cold/Lightning and over Elemental Weakness capped, so switch some Elemental Res to Chaos res.”

Back to Character classes

Berserker Builds

[Melee] Frost’s Warbringer Slaming Serker
About this build:
“Slamming Serker is in my opinion is one of the more underused and beginner friendly builds the game has to offer. It has a linear scaling and easy to understand gearing investments. This build is capable of doing any and all content in the game, and a great league starter.”

[Melee] Wishdropper’s General’s Cry Blade Flurry Berserker
About this build:
“Hey guys, this is the best boss killer build I have ever played. Blade Flurry with general’s cry deals stupid amount of damage. This is not even a min-maxed build, not using mirror tier items. Easily doable with 35-40 exalt. General’s Cry is a Warcry skill that taunts nearby enemies, and summons a number of mirage warriors from nearby corpses based on the power of nearby enemies and corpses. Mirage warriors deliver an exerted attack once with the linked trigger skill then disappear.”

[Melee] Wishdropper’s Rage Vortex Berserker
About this build:
“I wanted to start with a new skill and rage vortex looked very cool. When we sacrifice rage we create a ragestorm and this ragestorm gains +1 radius per 2 rage sacrificed and 5% more damage per 1 rage sacrificed. Berserker ascendancy + Redblade Banner combo is perfect for sustaining rage. So I decided to make an upgraded version and it’s actually stronger than I expected. This is a great boss killer. Clear speed is not great but it’s fine for a melee build.
Berserker ascendancy + Redblade Banner combo is perfect for sustaining rage.”

Chieftain Builds

[Melee] Jenno’s One shot Tectonic Slam Chieftain
About this build:
“Are you looking for a build that can be both a good league starter and a strong end-game character? Are you looking for a fun build with a unique play style, fast clearing speed, and satisfying experience of one-shotting bosses? Then this build might be perfect for you.”

[Melee] Kira’s Ngamahu’s Flame Cyclone
About this build:
“Changes to Chieftain pretty much make it perfect fit for Ngamahu Flame (Free Molten Burst that does impressive damage with huge AOE granting high clear speed. Requires 0 link. You just want to pop support gems into this weapon to buff Molten Burst) so I decided to make a build for it utilizing Elemental Overload.”

[Melee] JasonL’s Fire Lacerate Oni-Goroshi Chieftain
About this build:
“Since in Poe forum there are mostly bleed lacerate build for Hardcore SSF or physically based build, I decided to try making a strong Fire conversion Lacerate build with Chieftain. The main elements for this build are fast mapping, boss killer and a little bit tanky for easy leveling to 95+ level. For starters and newbies, this build is definitely doing good for low investments, I would rate it 8/10. The ascendancy and Oni-goroshi’s own power are still capable to clear through most contents.”

[Totem] Guggelhupf’s Ancestral Warchief Chieftain
About this build:
“This Build uses the Facebreaker Gloves – unique gloves which provide a huge physical damage boost to your unarmed attacks. Because of them it is possible to create a powerful character who has no weapon and uses only his bare fists! Very tanky and hard to die because you stay behind your Totems.”

Back to Character classes

Ranger

Deadeye Builds

[Ranged] Remi’s Toxic Rain Deadeye
About this build:
“You are able to kill conquerors and guardian in matters of seconds, looking their life pool getting drained so quick that if you blinked you might didn’t saw what happened to them. But of course this does comes with a price, the more you invest the more damage you will get. You would also have good damage uptime as the Mirage archers would be able to do the damaging job while you are moving around dodging boss skills.”

[Ranged] Mantol456’s Ice Shot Deadeye
About this build:
“I’ve been playing this game since quite some time on and off leagues, but always went back to Ice Shot Deadeye at least once every 2 leagues or so. With the 3.13 changes, I believe this is honestly the peak of what this build could really push and so I thought I wanted to share my build with you all. The problem for a typical Ice Shot Deadeye for me has always been survivability & bossing, which in return you get an exceptional clear speed. This build managed to get around that for the best of both world, with layers upon layers of offensive & defensive mechanics to make up for the aforementioned downside.”

[Ranged] Lazyrabbit711’s Physical Conversion Bowyer (Barrage + IS/LA/TS)
About this build:
“This build is designed to be an excellent boss killer, while still having top tier clearspeed. It requires some currency to start with, therefore not a good league starter (I suggest having at least 15~20ex ready before you start). But with some investment, you should be able to melt endgame bosses including sirus easily. no-one gives a damn about lightning jewels.”

Back to Character classes

Raider Builds

[Melee] Devon’s Blooming Flicker Raider
About this build:
“Hold right click (if that’s your bind for flicker) and occasionally dash further. Place a totem before fighting a boss and hold right click again. Most of the damage will be evaded/mitigated. On mapping frenzy charges will be generated without a problem as each kill has a 20% chance of generating one + everything on hit from Flicker. You will hit once and kill 5 things at once anyway. Regardless, both scenarios are covered.”

[Ranged] Leckarion’s Lancing Steel Raider
About this build:
“Heya, everyone! I decided to write this guide since a lot of people asked me how does this build work, if it’s expensive and how to build a character from low bugdet up to high budget. Since I got to level 100 and 100+ million combined dps, thought I should share my experience and help everyone wanting to build this. This build tries to achieve a good clear speed while focusing on boss killing. It can be min-maxed to be basically immortal if you stack life gain on hit and life or to simply erase all bosses in all content(except uber atziri, for that you’ll need rings to reduce reflected damage taken).”

[Ranged] DankawSL’s Caustic Arrow Raider
About this build:
“Starting with the most important question: “Why Raider of all classes?”
For powerful defensive abilities, QoL features and speed. When damage is not a problem, these are more valuable qualities than slightly higher dps number. That’s why i believe this is the best ascendancy choice for life based CA.”

[Ranged] 30Creptus’s Hopeshredder Frenzy Raider
About this build:
“This build based on unique bow – Hopeshredder. At cost of life degen you will receive: Strong single target, high Movement Speed, high Scale Ceiling and can do all map mods except reflect! The build variant is low to mid budget but requires investment for strong bossing.”

Back to Character classes

Pathfinder Builds

[Ranged] Thedeathbeam’s Scourge Arrow Pathfinder
About this build:
“So, let me start with saying that I really love Scourge Arrow. I tried quite a few variations of SA and I think I like this one the most. Why? well, mostly thanks to Nature’s Reprisal awesome poison proliferation. It solves a lot of problems that Scourge Arrow has, and that is having to charge to deal good damage, having issues with struggler monsters near walls and having issues with outputing damage consistently (because of constant charge/release playstyle).”

[Ranged] HollyPhantom’s Poisonous Concoction Pathfinder
About this build:
“Poisonous concoction is a new unarmed projectile attack poison skill. This is a trade league starter build with a 5 chaos budget. Good defense, offense, speed, and convenience.p league. Works with trash gear. Don’t need a weapon. Just need good gems, tree, and flasks.

[Melee] TorsteinTheFallen’s Ultimate Claw Poison Pathfinder
About this build:
“First I want to say that build is very much inspired by Mathil’s Viper Strike build from 3.7 league. I liked the attack poison based play style and wanted to push it to the next level in dps with totally different defenses. He did a great job by scaling that build the right way. Guide will cover 2 melee attack poison skills Pestilent Strike and Viper Strike. Ranged skills are discontinued as I will make guide for Assassin.”

[Spell] Ashriel’s Flaskoholic Poison Bladevortex Pathfinder
About this build:
“With 3.15 huge buffs to Pathfinder, in form of beeing able to FINALLY trigger Flasks, I present to you the golden middle between sleeping away as a Necromancer and actually playing the game. Many would ask at this point: Why no Assassin? There are so many advantages but the basic answer is simple: With Pathfinder we are far more reliable in dps uptime and survivability. I’d trade these for a little more burst dps anytime.”

Back to Character classes

Scion

Ascendant Builds

[Spell] Kelvynn’s Ice Dancing Queen – Icestorm/Cyclone/CI
About this build:
“Turn Wraeclast into a skating rink and pirouette all over the endgame! The main idea is to be tanky and mobile enough to faceroll everything in your way. No boss is too hard, most are too easy. All maps with most any mods are a joke. I’ve been using this build to do 40/40 challenges on my own merit in many leagues, this is my go-to build to get things done.”

[Spell] Tsunamikun’s Exsanguinate Scion
About this build:
“Tanky and Fast Build, outside of bosses and 200+ scourge nothing will really kill you. No need for unleash/Spellslinger or Echo, des Build can substain 3 stacks of exsanguinate without problems, even with awakenend Swift Affliction. Cheap Entrypoint for the build to work.”

[Melee] Kira1414’s Goddess Sword Spinning in Flurry (Cyclone/Blade Flurry/Frost Blades)
About this build:
“This is a crit based 3-in-1 build using Cyclone + Frost Blades + Blade Flurry. I have always wanted to play a crit based Cyclone build and with the re-introduced version of the Goddess Sword – Oni Goroshi in patch 3.1, I decided to create one with the sword as the center piece. 3 main skills are used in the build, namely: Cyclone + Frost Blades for mapping and Blade Flurry for single target.”

[Ranged] Velyna’s Explosive Concoction Ascendant
About this build:
“Drop that boring sword and toss some grenades instead! With Explosive Concoction we weaponize flasks and flask charges to create ranged projectiles that explode on impact with shotgunning damage. Very fun and unique skill, surprisingly strong as well!”

[Totem] Gui_orioli’s Holy Flame Totem Scion
About this build:
“This is a build I homebrewed that can be used as a League Starter since it doesn’t require much to get into late game, as well as for HC and SSF, since it’s tanky and cheap. It uses the great interaction between Hierophant and Chieftain ascensions with Holy Flame Totem. I believe that going full life build is the way to go, since life leech is so good for this build, so I won’t be trying MoM builds from now on (although there are some outdated ones, kept for reference).”

Back to Character classes

Shadow

Assassin Builds

[Spell] Trivialmatters’s KB/PS Int Stack Wander King
About this build:
“Assassin have the best starting point, provides extra dodge and still has very good move speed while providing immense unconditional dps from ascendancy nodes. Crit immunity is something that cannot be gained otherwise, making this guy only version that can be stun/crit/ailment immune at the same time. This should be the obvious choice for any solo player. All content, deathless without changing anything – Tanky with up to 18K ES, fortify, crit immunity and 28 spell/attack dodge.”

[Spell] Qosmoz’s Low Life CoC Ice Nova Assassin
About this build:
“I’ve played CoC Ice Nova every league since Betrayal. Life version, dual Cospris, Cospri + Lycosidae, CI version (expensive) and finally Low Life version. I like the versatility and damage potential of Low Life version. However, this can be quite glass cannon with low investment. One of the most fun build to play with big damage for single target and big explosions for mapping.

[Spell] Youngtomlin’s Penance Brand Assassin
About this build:
“This build I created for the sole purpose of farming end-game Delerium maps very quickly. With good enough gear however, this build can do all content in the game. It does very high amounts of damage and excels in mapping the harder the map gets. It is excellent for 100% Delerium or 5-way legions. The focus here is on conversion, we are using Penance Brand as our main skill, which converts half of your physical damage to Lightning. We will complete this conversion and then further convert our damage to cold to great benefit.”

[Spell] Kami’s Life/LL/CI CoC Ice Nova Assassin
About this build:
“I wanted to make a complete and detailed build guide, from a near zero Life Based CoC Ice Nova Assassin up to a real dps or tank Hero LL/CI Character. With this build it’s possible to do all Content. It doesn’t matter if its Delve 1k+, kill Sirus A8 or farm juiced T16 maps. I played CoC Assassin already like 20 times in many different variations, some where Tanky as hell with okayish dps, some were very high dps but squishier, some were for a balanced gameplay.”

[Melee] KissMeQuick’s Unleashed Reaper Assassin
About this build:
“I see that the build is pretty good and well balanced now with being able to level comfortably in T16 40% – 60% Delirious maps with boss kills. Only expensive items are Kaom’s and Atziri’s Acuities; Acuities are not necessary. This league is a hit and run league which is exactly how this build plays out. You should use 1-2 seconds between casts to reposition yourself with Dash and buff yourself up with Hextouched Storm Brand.”

[Melee] Rahsaan’s The Nightblade Blade Flurry Assassin
About this build:
“I have created the build I wanted to play with my favorite Ascendancy and my favorite skill. It’s not meta, but it’s fast, fun and versatile. Since december 2018, I have done every content with it. I want to pay tribute to Mathil for his old BF Assassin. It has been outdated since 3.5, but it was the basis for this build.”

[Ranged] Trivialmatters’s KB/PS Int Stack Wander King
About this build:
“The build revolves around having a Shaper or Hunter wand with ‘adds 1-6 lightning damage to attacks with this weapon per 10 intelligence’ then scaling int both for Energy Shield and Damage. A few changes happened in 3.10. First of all we got a method of adding spell dmg to attack dmg without using a Crown of Eyes. But even more importantly the new cluster jewel system now lets up spend our points much more efficiently. Since then, patch after patch, int stacker managed to dodge all the big nerfs.. thanks to its non-dependancy on a single mechanic to work.”

Saboteur Builds

[Trap/Mine] DissentXTV’s Lightning Trapper
About this build:
“Playing & developing on this build since betrayal league (3.5), always doing all content, with an emphasis on not dying! (works for HC) and clearing everything with ease and relatively good map speed (nice for SC, lots of damage!). New league has not changed anything crucial, in fact we’ve received some buffs in terms of better survivability and slightly more damage.”

[Trap/Mine] Qosmoz’s LL Eye of Winter Mines Saboteur
About this build:
“Fellow Exiles, this is Qosmoz. I’ve played Low Life Miners as my league starter in the last few leagues with different spells. Eye of Winter is one of the new skills I tried in Expedition League with lots of fun and success. This build carried me for anything in game, and I absolutely recommend Eye of Winter as one of the best mine skill in game. Clear is very good with chaining projectiles, bossing and doing end game content is pretty good as well. Definitely, try yourself to see the damage and clear speed.”

[Trap/Mine] Wishdropper’s Seismic/Exsanguinate Traper
About this build:
“I don’t really like trap playstyle but wanted to make one. I tried blade trap at the beginning of the league but that wasn’t really good. Using exsanguinate for clear, seismic trap for bosses. I stopped playing this build at level 91 because gauntlet has started and I would like to participate to that.”

Back to Character classes

Trickster Builds

[Spell] Havoc209’s Essence Drain Trickster
About this build:
“I have been playing Path of Exile starting in 2013 ever since the first League was released. There were a few reasons I created this guide. Mainly I just wanted to help others find a great build that can be SUPER easy to follow and can be enjoyed. I started Essence Drain back in Legion league and I have been playing it every league since then. I haven’t had ANY issues with this build on any bosses and I kill everything that’s tried to kill me. EVERYTHING dies!!”

[Spell] Clydehart’s Bloodslinger Exsanguinate CF PB LL Trickster
About this build:
“The concept of the build is to link Exsanguinate into a Spellslinger setup, which triggers every time you attack. Link Corrupting Fever into the 4L gloves (with 30% more damage over time to socketed gems from Essence of Delirium). KB delivery system will stack a ton of Corrupting Fever very quickly. Removes one of the major drawbacks of blood skills, which is the health cost + cast speed. Stack as many methods of a hit as possible to maintain near 10 stacks of Corrupting Fever on enemies. You’ll be applying two DoTs through Exsanguinate and Corrupting Fever every attack.”

[Ranged] GokuTD’s Toxic Rain + Caustic Arrow Trickster
About this build:
“This is another standard Toxic Rain build with my own spin on things. The build is incredibly tanky, decent to high life pool, and has great damage and clear speed. This guide should be rather comprehensive, so if I left anything out, just ask in the comments. I also added some example calculations at the bottom if you want to calculate your own DPS.”

Back to Character classes

Templar

Inquisitor Builds

[Spell] Claeysken’s Aegis Incinerate Inquisitor
About this build:
“Are you looking for a tank that can still deal damage? Tired of the swoop swoop speedmeta of late? Do you like seeing your ES go up and down while laughing at the mobs’ damage? Have you missed playing Incinerate? Then this build might be for you…”

[Spell] 1337fun’s Spark Inquisitor
About this build:
“I wanted to make a build, which could do Blight encounters and maps with ease. But also not be lacking in other aspects of the game and also not be a meta one, so it will be cheaper to do. The only piece of content, i haven’t mastered with this build, is HoGM.”

Back to Character classes

Hierophant Builds

[Spell] Enki’s Orb of Storms and Ball Lightning Archmage
About this build:
“This build combines Orb of Storms and Ball Lightning together with the mana-stacking Archmage playstyle to create a reliable character that’s ready for all content in this game. Easy to gear, decent survivability and good single target damage.”

[Spell] Arcinde’s The Perfect Ice Nova Hierophant
About this build:
“This is my version of the Frostbolt/Ice Nova Hierophant build, a well rounded build with high single target DPS and EHP. I first developed the Hierophant variant of this build in 3.8 in response to the mana rebalancing patch. Since then I’ve been playing and refining the build every league.”

[Totem] Bergerbrush’s Divine Ire Totem Hierophant
About this build:
“This Guide will have all information needed for newer or older players to start off from level 1 as you are exiled upon the Twilight Strand. Divine Ire is a channeling skill that release a large beam when it reaches max charges. When channeling Divine Ire it has a circle around it that deals a smaller amount of damage than the actual beam does. When we place down Totems it will channel Divine Ire for us and the same mechanics of Divine Ire will apply to our totems. It will channel a large circle around the totem and then release a beam at max charges.”

[Totem] Wallach’s Freezing Pulse Totems
About this build:
“I still think Freezing Pulse totems lost enough damage in 3.15 that it’s not quite as good of a starter as it once was. That said, it’s still a pretty safe option overall in terms of being able to handle late yellow and early red tier maps early in the league, so even if you don’t want to invest into it for high-end content, you shouldn’t have a hard time earning currency and progressing up to red maps. Compared to 3.15, I think the build did get some of its progression smoothness back, as there is now much easier access to reduced effect of curses.”

[Totem] Loloppe’s Forbidden Rite Hierophant
About this build:
“The build handle high-tier mapping very easily. It is not tanky, like most totem build, but can easily reach 10k, up to 12k EHP with 16% physical mitigation. The best part of Forbidden Rite is the single target. This spell melt boss down almost instantly. I have done most contents in 3.15 with this build. The main downside of the skill is the clear speed. It require decent investment before feeling good.”

[Totem] Vei’s Elemental Hit Ballista Totem Hiero
About this build:
“The Main Goal of this guide is to provide a Budget Friendly and Accessible Build that everyone can use and doesn’t require one to invest tons of currency into it before it starts working(Handling Red Maps, and Other Endgame content) and this is done through the usage of Frostferno, Quill Rain, 2x Combat Focus and Rain of Splinter early on, and later on through Kaom’s Heart and Lethal Pride(Akoya) for Chainbreaker and never requiring any 6 Links throughout.”

Guardian Builds

[Minion] Moosseolini’s Holy Relics Guardian
About this build:
“Hello everyone! I wanted to share with you an interesting build which revolves around scaling Summon Holy Relic for our main damage source, and triggering the relic nova spell using either Static Strike or Cyclone. The build features many defence layers, alongside great utility, and high and consistent damage. We do not require flasks or combat buffs to deal our damage, making everything that much more predictable.”

[Minion] Chromino’s HoA The Agonyca Arachnophobia Guardian
About this build:
“The Arachnophobia Allstars are using a special combination of the managuardiansetup, gear like the memory vault, and his ascendancies like Radiant Faith. The build reaches also a peakhigh ES 7000-10000, maximal molten shell and frostshield on stun, maximal use of two defensive vaal skills, top Ailments resistances and not flasks-depending. Offensive it’s very effective and balanced with it’s dreamteam-mix of immortal ranged and melee minions. It’s center is the Herald of Agony and speedful spiders with wonderful aggresive style.“

[Minion] Quodlike’s Dominating Blow Guardian
About this build:
“Hi guys i have been playing Dominating Blow the last few Leagues and every time i try to trancend the build to higher heights. The build was originaly inspired by Balor Mage guide a few leagues back and i always tried to improve it and reached to this state i will showcase below. This build is about trying to stack as many auras as possible being as tanky as possible while maintaining high Life and very hight damage ofc.”

Back to Character classes

Witch

Necromancer Builds

[Minion] Kay’s Necro Summoner (Spectres / Spiders / SRS)
About this build:
“This necro summoner is a very flexible build. The build start off with using a small minion army, and then gives you the choice to specialise on boss killing, fast mapping or a combination. You can do all content in the game with just one character! This build is based on my own character as well as the suggestions and theorycrafting of many other players. So a big thank you to everyone who has contributed!”

[Minion] Deadandlivin’s Cold Carrion Golem & Spectre Summoner
About this build:
“This is the third league in a row that I have been trying to perfect my own summoner archetype and I’ve finally reached the point where I feel confident enough to create a build guide. This build has been through alot of trial and error through different Ascendancies, different jewel setups, changing skill gems and altering curse setups. The final product is a build that has close to unlimited damage potential which absolutely destroys any content in the game in an instant. This build guide will help us understand many indepth summoner mechanics and functions as a walkthrough taking us straight from level 1 in The Twilight Strand to onetapping the hardest content in the game with a mirror tier build.”

[Minion] Inkira’s Broodmother: A Summon Spiders Necro
About this build:
“Are you tired of struggling with endgame bosses? Do you like standing around playing dodgeball with Maven’s abilities while your spiders melt her down for you? Do you secretly love spiders? Then this is the build for you! I have been tweaking this build since Legion league and with the Echoes of the Atlas expansion I have yet again cleared all of the end game deathless. This build originally began by adding my own twist to old Summon Spider builds and I believe that my build is better than many of the older Summon Spider builds that I drew inspiration from.”

[Minion] Brunowa’s King Of All Summoners
About this build:
“This build was so insanely OP when it was created in 3.8 that it has been nerfed every league since then. So unfortunately you can no longer experience the game-breaking mechanics of this build… but it has now become an average to strong, casual and relaxed style build that can still carry you all the way through the game with some investment.”

[Minion] iLL3aT’s Cold Skeleton Warriors/Archers/Mages Summoner
About this build:
“Skeleton builds have always been great characters for beginners to learn the game, as well as for veterans who want an efficient league starter and/or a strong build that can clear all content. For beginners, skeletons offer a simple playstyle with few gear requirements and impactful, incremental upgrades. It is also great to learn boss mechanics on, since you can focus on dodging while your minions do the work. A skeleton focused build can bring you to the endgame (Shaper and Sirus) at a cost of around two exalted orbs worth of currency. Some players have killed their first awakener ever using this build!”

[Minion] Odif’s Newbie Necro Skeleton Mage Necromancer
About this build:
“This build is a newbie friendly, super low cost, league starter build. It will get you deep into red maps with minimal investment. With just the currency you accumulate as you progress through red maps you will be strong enough to kill all single end game bosses. This build uses Skeleton Mages to do massive dps on a low budget. It’s crazy how fast bosses melt with this set up, as it will take most bosses deep into negative resists. For defense we use Bone Offering with Mistress of Sacrifice, Glancing Blows, and Unwavering Stance to gain unlimited 66% attack block, and around 52% spell block. We also have good life gained on block, good life pool, high life regen, and are immune to stun.”

[Minion] Cheapbunny’s Summon Reaper Build
About this build:
“When Summon Reaper first announced in Expedition announcement, I know this is the skill for me, it just looks so cool. I generally like to play build that ultilizes multi-buttons, and willing to sacrifice a little clear speed for single target damage, I really like the solo minion concept a lot that I league started Summon Reaper in Expedition league. Despite all the negative comments on the skill since launch, I still like it and taking it to the end game, enjoy if you like Reaper too =).”

[Minion] Weo’s SRS Bomber Necromancer
About this build:
The Build is all about exploding Raging Spirits with the Minion Instability Keystone and the Tavukai Unique Amulet. We use the Amulet and the Infernal Legion Support to make the Raging Spirits take damage until they reach low life and explode dealing damage based on their max life. The Build can easily be played as a starter and will take you through all the content there is and will obliterate any Boss there is. The build could be done without any Unique, but to not feel clunky and to not loose to much damage you will at least need the Tavukai Amulet.

[Minion] ThanatoZGaming’s Elemental Animate Weapon Summoner
About this build:
“The nerf/removal to Elemental Equilibrium has significantly changed the build – and it’s now possible to do a fire conversion style of Animate Weapon instead, which has better ways to cut through resistances, and a little higher defenses.”

[Spell] Zzang’s LL VD+DD Spellslinger Necromancer
About this build:
“This build is for you if you like massive single target damage combined with tankiness that has screenwide AoE autoaim one button gameplay skill which off screens and clears all game content including Hall of Grandmasters easy and deathless.”

[Spell] Primaeva’s Bosskiller Brand Necromancer
About this build:
“In this build, an Arcanist Brand with Volatile Dead and another with Desecrate jump on a target, spawning 12 corpses and blowing 9/12 of them up + generating 9/12 balls. The brands have already leapt to a new target and repeat the cycle there – and each cycle takes less and less time to complete. Corpse Pact supplies up to 200% cast speed to Arcanist Brand, which brings activation rates to around 0.26. Arcanist Brand allows you to goof off and run in circles / towards the end of the map while your millions of DPS blows the head off everything.”

[Spell] Gryph’s Burning Witch – Volatile Dead Necromancer
About this build:
“Cast on Crit VD is not a new idea. One of my biggest issues with it has always been that I am lazy and like my buffs from utility spells. The biggest and most impactful, one being Bone Offering for the massive Attack and Spell Block chance and the life recovery gained when you block buffs. CoC VD/DD builds do not typically have a way to automate this reliably(if at all) and that is not appealing to me. And so, inspired by my love of Scold’s Bridle and inflicting damage on myself, I am utilizing Eye of Innocence for self damage to trigger my spells while I spin and spin and spin.”

Occultist Builds

[Spell] ShakCentral’s Vortex For Everyone
About this build:
“Do you hate having to choose between high damage builds and ones with great defenses? Do you want a single build that can take on deep delves and still crush Awakener 8 Sirus? This guide is your stop for all things Vortex. Whether you want a character easily geared in SSF, a safe boss killer, or just a build that deals constant damage with maneuverability, you’ll find what you need!”

[Spell] Clydehart’s Coldslinger / Vortex / Creeping Frost Occultist
About this build:
“This build focuses on Cold DoT (damage over time), where it uses the combination of two cold DoT spells for the main damage: Vortex and Creeping Frost. However, instead of the traditional, clunky self-cast, it utilizes two separate Spellslinger setups to launch out Frostbolt and Creeping Frost. When Vortex is self-cast while there are frostbolts on the screen, it will consume the Frostbolt to dump a Vortex there. Turns out, you can cover your map in about 3-4 attacks.”

[Spell] Ichigo’s Lahkesis Queen of Chaos ED/Bane/Contag Occultist
About this build:
“Enemies will have to bypass solid evade/dodge layer first, then face all the mitigation, have to avoid getting hit by ED (yeah good luck with that while being slowed to a crawl) AND have to deal good damage to give the queen enough trouble. This makes her very resilient to all kinds of damage. However, watch out for any spell-dominant users with good damage like Atziri, Elder, Shaper, and don’t get too cocky and try to facetank everything in the game.”

[Spell] ZaPwner’s Crackling Lance Occultist
About this build:
“The build is very viable, the clear speed will be insane, survivability will be good and all bosses will be doable, however there will be some grinding needed (it won’t be as smooth as it was in 3.14 patch when it was originally designed). Since it uses mana reservation there is a big chance that the build will run into mana problems.”

[Ranged] F4ward’s Caustic Arrow/Death’s Oath Occultist
About this build:
“This is an attempt to create a fun build with a decent bossing skill. Luckily Caustic Arrow and Death Aura like the same things: DoT multiplier and Chaos Damage. The result is a very fun and dynamic build with incredible clear speed, without too much button mashing. For clearing we have Death Aura which only requires you to run through the mobs. Don’t be afraid to charge into a pack, just go where the monsters are and keep moving. Less stopping – less chance they will target you. For hard Rares and Bosses we have Caustic Arrow which lets us keep range and deal decent DPS. Just shoot and run around.”

[Ranged] HunterKee’s Poisonous Concoction Occultist
About this build:
“This build have really good mapping speed, however it does lack of some single target because the nature of this skill. However, it is a amazing league start since it does not require any weapon to reach full zooming. If you choose this as league start, you could convert to other really good end game builds like Occ spider summoner or CoC ice spear.”

Elementalist Builds

[Spell] WarPig17’s Sporeguard Incinerate Elementalist
About this build:
“Incinerate Self-Cast Elementalist was the first build I ever played in POE, starting at the tail-end of 3.8 Blight League. Since then I’ve been keeping the build alive in Standard and incrementally improving it as I’ve learned more about the game. I have found it fun and rewarding, and spent close to 300 hours playing the build. The Self-Cast Incinerate build laid out here is a solid off-meta all-rounder. It won’t trivialize any of the game’s later content, but it’s easy to break into maps on a budget, remains consistent through its development, and has end-game potential at a reasonable cost.”

[Spell] Unlucky_child’s Discharge Fire burst Elementalist
About this build:
“This build uses Fireball and/or discharge, which focuses mainly on Ignite. Discharge has quite big AOE so you can use it or fireball for maping. Depends on your playstyle. We do generate charges with Romiras banquet, which gives us most of the time Power charge on hit. Voll’s protector + Blood rage for another way of getting power charges, and lastly enduring cry. Most of the time voll’s protector with blood rage instantly gives me charges after killing. It automatically refill those charges i spent on discharge, so you dont need to wait or generate it other way. If you run out of charges, use either enduring cry or just spam fireballs until you get some charges.”

[Minion] SadPanda’s Carrion Golems Elementalist
About this build:
“Hey guys, I have done carrions for 2 leagues now and this time I think it is at the peak of its potential. So many people started copying it so I decided to make a guide and point out the changes and directions I would go instead of guiding players one by one.”
