Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos Review

Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos perfectly combines classic adventure RPG, rogue-lite and even Simulation! Yes, you can decide for yourself exactly how the city will develop, which buildings you need in the first place because it depends on how successfully you will fight. And add to this the ability to play Co-op for up to four people at the same time, whether it’s online or split-screen.

The game takes place in the peaceful land of Tasos. Well, the world around you is not so safe, the enemies will not let you walk calmly around the surroundings, and if you dare to go down into the dungeons, then get ready for serious battles! It is you who have to confront the Titans and their army of minions, which terrify this world.

All Dungeons have a set of randomly generated rooms, with different enemies, traps, riddles and of course rewards. It is here that you have to take on the role of a hero and, in addition to going through the main storyline in search of secrets and answers, also get valuable resources. Yes, it is in the dungeons that you can get Gems, a special currency that will unlock new buildings, and also serve to improve the equipment and characteristics of your characters. However, if you die in the dungeon, you will lose all the equipment that you found in it – only Gems will remain.

Players will find a large assortment of various equipment and skills – tools, spells, and weapons. Some of them will always be available, some only temporarily (for example, found in the dungeon). You can improve and discover new opportunities for your equipment in the city by building special Shops and Stores. As for the classes, of which there are currently eight, and each with its own unique abilities and characteristics. Open all of them, and understanding their strengths and weaknesses, choose the one that suits you best!

The game comes out on Steam on February 23rd, and if you are still in doubt, there is a free demo version in which you can get acquainted with the gameplay of the game.
