Scholomance Academy – Hearthstone

There is a new expansion coming to Hearthstone. The new upcoming Hearthstone expansion is Scholomance Academy it is already available for pre-purchase and will be released in early August. We will tell you some details about the expansion further.

Even though there is no certain date of release you can check Hearthstone Cards Library to see which cards from the new expansion have been added to the game. If the cards are empty it means that Scholomance Academy is not available yet. Visit Card Library frequently to stay up to date.

Scholomance Academy Dual Class Cards

It is logical to assume that in the add-on related to the school of magic, many cards related to magic will be added. Thus new Dual Class cards will be added into the game that will bring a lot of new gameplay opportunities. These Dual-Class cards make up 40 of the 135 cards to be released with Scholomance Academy. All of them are presented in the following combinations:

Druid/Hunter
Hunter/Demon Hunter
Demon Hunter/Warlock
Warlock/Priest
Priest/Paladin
Paladin/Warrior
Warrior/Rogue
Rogue/Mage
Mage/Shaman
Shaman/Druid

Spellburst Keyword and Studies in Hearthstone

There is also one new keyword upcoming to the game, which is called Spellburst.

Scholomance Academy introduces a new keyword: Spellburst, a one-time-only effect when you cast a spell! With a Spellburst minion or weapon in play, casting a Spell will activate its Spellburst effect. Spellburst minions add a new way to combo, play, and spell-blast your way to Legend!

As for the Studies, this is a new type of cards that will let you discover a spell card immediately and will reduce the mana cost of the next card of that type.

In addition, you can get a Transfer Student minion card now for free. The only thing you need to do is log in into the game. Be sure to update Hearthstone to the patch 17.6. It is an obligatory condition to unlock Transfer Student. If you do everything right, you will get two copies of the mentioned card for free. Also, you will be able to play it before the Scholomance Academy releases. So don’t hesitate and launch Hearthstone for the juice rewards!

In overall there are 135 new cards upcoming to Hearthstone in the new Scholomance Academy expansion. You can get bundles with 55 and 85 Scholomance Academy cards if you pre-purchase the expansion. The great news for those who wanted to come back to the game.
