WoW Burning Crusade Classic The Consortium Reputation Guide

All classical addons in World of Warcraft are deeply oriented on farming reputation with different factions to open access to more advanced rewards or content. So if you want to play TBC classic effectively you will need to know what factions are required to gain a reputation with. In this post, you will learn how to farm reputation with The Consortium faction.

The Consortium is a friendly cartel of Ethereals that operate in several zones such as Netherstorm and Nagrand. The Consortium is a faction of ethereal led by Nexus-Prince Haramad. They are traders, smugglers, and collectors who have established settlements in most zones in Outland. While their main base of operations is at Stormspire in Netherstorm they can also be found at:

  • Eco-Dome Midrealm in Netherstorm
  • Aeris Landing in Nagrand
  • At various locations in Auchindoun in Terokkar Forest

How to gain reputation with The Consortium faction?

Consortium reputation can be earned by running Mana-Tombs as well as collecting Oshu’gun Crystal Fragment, Pair of Ivory Tusks, Obsidian Warbeads, and Zaxxis Insignia for turn in.

Neutral to Friendly

Friendly to Honored

HonoredExalted

Notes:
Players simultaneously working on gaining reputation with The Mag’har or the Kurenai and the Consortium may want to focus on killing Boulderfist and Warmaul ogres for Mag’har or Kurenai reputation in Nagrand while turning in  Obsidian Warbeads to the Consortium for efficiency. The caveat here is that the drop rate on  Obsidian Warbeads is roughly 33%, while it is 50% for  Zaxxis Insignias. If the character is level 70 and the player has no concern for Mag’har/Kurenai reputation, then grinding insignias is most efficient.

Above you can see the how path that will help you gain reputation with The Consortium faction.
