After yesterday’s news post I’ve got lots of private messages where you guys ask: How to unlock allied races in WoW? So I decided to make this short World of Warcraft allied races guide. Here I’ll write about all the races that Blizard added in Legion and Battle for Azeroth content. It’s not that hard to get them, actually. Especially now with Bonus Reputation Buff active. Let me remind you that you can get 100% reputation buff in WoW from 20th April until 18th May 2020.
Formally allied races have been added in Battle for Azeroth expansion as all of them became playable then. That is true, but if you were attentive you might have noticed that you could do all the quests to unlock Legion allied races. Nevertheless, even though you have unlocked them, you still had to wait until BFA.
So there are ten allied races five per each fraction:
Horde: Nightborne, Highmountain Tauren, Zandalari Troll, Mag’har Orc, Vulpera (added not long ago).
Alliance: Void Elf, Lightforged Draenei, Dark Iron Dwarf, Kul Tiran Human, Mechagnome (added not long ago).
Every race comes with specials. Each has unique emotes, customization options, mounts, and armour.
To unlock any race you must do some actions. To be sure it is to become Exalted with their faction and complete a specific storyline quest related to the race.
All the requirements that you may face described below:
This information will help you get a better understanding of the way to unlock these races. I am not sure that I will write a guide to open each of the races separately. But if you want to know about the specials of each race (months, armour or traits) you can read this Wowhead post. Also, there you’ll find links to the complete guides for unlocking every WoW allied race. And I meanwhile continue my way of getting Vulpera 🙂
Let's go back to my original idea of describing the plot of the first part…
