We finally know the champions name. So who won LoL Worlds 2019? We will tell you later in the post about League of Legends World Championship 2019 results further. Previously, we discussed the Semifinals of Worlds 2019 results, so you can check the post about it if you missed it as well.
Before we continue the topic about the match let’s talk about the opening ceremony a bit. As you might already know the leading song of this year competition is Pheonix (ft. Cailin Russo and Chrissy Costanza). The main idea of the song is that even if you fail don’t let yourself give up, fight with your fears and go to your dream. That’s a strong message, isn’t it? As for the opening ceremony. Besides, the leading song we also saw other Riot hits. Such as Awaken, performed by Valerie Broussard. And a debut of GIANTS song, performed by Becky G, Keke Palmer, SOYEON, DUCKWRTH, and Thutmose. The last one, by the way, was a presentation of new awesome True Damage skins! As you can see there were a lot of visual effects in the performance this year as well. We wish we were in Paris to see all of it alive too. As for the Tru Damage skins. The champions in these series are Ekko, Senna, Qiyana, Akali, and Yasuo. The GIANTS song has a specific video on YouTube as well, if you are interested.
But enough talking about the ceremony. We are here for the Finals results, aren’t we? So two teams made it to the LoL Finals this year: FunPlus Phoenix and G2 Esports. The teams represented two different regions, those are as follows, China and Europe. This is the second year in a row when European fans could see their team in the Semifinals, as well as China fans too.
Last year Fnatic lost to Invictus Gaming. But this year both teams couldn’t manage to go this far. Not to spoiler everything for you, we embed the video of the first game. Then you can easily watch all three games in a row.
That was a very important victory for both teams. But League of Legends World Championship 2019 Winner is FunPlus Phoenix! Very confident and strong performance by China players gives us a lot of things to learn about their game style!
