Teamfight Tactics Season 2: Rise of the elements

The first season of Teamfight tactics is coming to an end. It is known that Beta together with season 1 of TFT ends 6th November 2019. Up to this date, we all have a chance to do our best to get the rank that we deserve. But after that Teamfight Tactics Season 2: Rise of the elements will hit the game, changing it completely.

The core change that gave the name of the name to patch 9.22 Rise of the elements is the gameplay of TFT.

What is Rise of the elements?

First of all, there will be 4 elements in the game: Inferno, Ocean, Mountain, and Wind. Those elements will appear randomly at the beginning of each game you will the sign of the element in the middle of the round where you pick a champion. For you, that means, for instance, that on your board there will be a hex that buffs a champion that starts combat in it. Every player has the same buff. As for the hex location, it is random. Moreover, a buff consumes a slot like an item. So if a champion has three items the buff won’t work.

Elemental Buffs description

So what exactly do those buffs do:

  • Inferno – Gives a champion attack speed for the whole combat
  • Ocean – Gives the champion standing it it extra mana in the start of a combat
  • Mountain – Gives a champion that starts combat in it a permanent extra health points that stack between rounds and don’t disappear even if a champion moves from an elemental hex
  • Wind – Gives higher chance to dodge for the duration of a combat

You may notice that all these elements represent the elements from Summoners Rift! Besides, it is worth mentioning that every new element will appear on stages 3-1 and other round stages.
