A new free feature has arrived in The Sim 4! Now players can experience new challenges while playing. First scenarios are free and anyone who owns the game can try them out. In this post, we will tell you how to play scenarios and how will this feature develop in the future.
It is a new free feature where you start a game with restrictions relevant to the scenarios’ requirements. The aim is to complete the main task. Keep in mind that there are no limits on how you complete the task, make your scenario unique and creative. Also, there are several endings some of them are mentioned in the game others are hidden and you can try to unlock them yourself.
The new feature starts on 2nd November and contains two different scenarios. The first one is called “Making Money” where your sim starts with 0$ and you need to become a millionaire. And the second one is “Finding Love after a Break up” where you’ll see different possible outcomes (get together with your ex, become best friends with your ex, find new love, and maybe some hidden ones).
Even though there are only two scenarios right now there will be much more in the future. Moreover, some of them will stay a lifetime, while others will have a limited period of time.
First of all, you need to update the game if you haven’t played for a while. When you do you will see the new button in the launch screen menu “Start a New Scenario”. Click on it and you will see a list of available scenarios. You can read the terms of each of them to decide which one you’d like to play now.
A new scenario will make you create a new household. Some of the scenarios will have restrictions on the age of the sims or their relations, etc. In future updates, you will be able to start a scenario with the families that you already own, but now there is no such option.
On the other hand, you can save scenarios in the existing saves. That will not ruin your current progress with other families. Or you can create new saves to play there scenarios.
When you pick a scenario a game will automatically open the sims creator. Create a family that matches all requirements and start playing.
Remember that there are many ways to complete a scenario and you are not limited. Also, you can make some of them even more challenging, for example, start on an empty lot for the “Making Money” scenario.
