Genshin Impact is an active game that is also under development. Every two-three months players can see new zones. Every summer the new region unlocks and every month you can see new banners in Genhsin Impact. In this post we decided to share with you all Genshin Impact characters release dates and add information about Genshin future banners that will feature new characters.

As you proceed and complete quests you will unlock other characters for free. The team in Genshin Impact should contain 4 active characters so you will need them to proceed through the game. Below you can see a list of free Genhsin Impact characters.
All these characters were released on 28th September 2020, except for Collei and Lynette.
You will see the quests so you will not miss the opportunity to get your free Genshin Impact characters. They are also added to the pull at all wishes. Some wishes feature them so they get a higher drop rate. Every month you will see some of these characters in the shop there you can get them once again to upgrade to the next constellation level.
The characters below are all 5-star characters that can be obtained any time from wishes in Wanderlust Invocation (permanent banner). Also, they are present in a pull for promo banner.
All these characters were released on 28th September 2020 except for Dehya.
They also have a guaranteed roll. Every 90th roll you get a 5-start item. It can be a piece of weapon or a character from above. If it is a Wanderlust Invocation Wish you will be one of the mentioned 5-star characters. But also you can get them in the promotional banner even on the guaranteed roll.
Below you will see the list of all released Genshin Impact characters in order from the oldest to the newest. Their release date will be mentioned instead of the “How to get” column because all of them can be obtained only from wishes. 4-star characters are available all the time in any wish (newly released ones will be available only in the promo banner and when it ends will be added to the permanent banner pull). Sometimes 4-star characters are featured in the shop that refreshes every month. You can get a character there if you need it.
Butt 5-star characters in Genshin Impact are harder to get. There are five characters that are added to the pull of the Wanderlust Invocation permanent banner. Also, they have a chance to be obtained during the active promotional banner. But other 5-star characters can be obtained only when their banner is active. Therefore we decide to share with you all Genshin Impact characters release dates so you can see when they were added to the game to guess when they’ll get a rerun.
Currently, these are all active characters in Genshin Impact. Don’t forget that all the mentioned 5-star characters can be obtained when their banners are active (new or reruns). As for the upcoming banners Genshin Impact we can share with you some mentioned upcoming characters below.
