Auto-chess games rushed into the gaming world and took their place. First of all, it was a mobile games genre. But now we all can see many games appearing for PC as well. We have written a lot about Teamfight Tactics lately, but now we want to share with you other best like TFT.

Auto Chess

One of the first games in this genre. They are available both on mobile phones and PC. It is a free to play game which you can access from the Epic Games Store.

The major advantage of Auto Chess is a great balance between races and classes. Developers pay lots of attention to contour combos. And that means that you won’t find and ultimate unstoppable combo as there is always a counter one.

Mechanics of the game is similar to TFT. There are a lot of champions each of them have specific traits and races. All of them can wear three items. But there more items in Auto Chess, so variate of them is greater. Moreover, it is easier to collect the specific items.

The other great thing is UI. You will never miss the champion that you are collecting. Besides, you can turn a mode that helps you make the proper combinations of different races and traits. A very helpful thing if you are learning to play.

Hearthstone Battlegrounds

This is a fresh game in the autobattler genre. It was presented in the last Blizzcon and takes place in the Hearthstone game. So basically it is a new mode in Hearthstone.

Generally it is similar to Teamfight Tactics and other auto-chess games. You will play against other seven players and will need to combine and collect cards that are typical to champions. But the mechanics is a bit different.

First of all, all units cost 3 gold but you can sell them only for 1. That won’t let you follow the buy-all technique. Nevertheless, you will also need to manage your deck and position of your cards on the battleground. There is also a bit lack of balance, but Blizzard is trying to fix it.

Dota Underlords

Dota 2 is the game where the path of Auto Chess began. Thanks to it we have a number of great autobattler games. But in some time Auto Chess had to migrate to the separate game and Dota 2 made its own game and named it Dota Underlords.

One of the biggest differences between Dota Underlords and other auto chess games is its items system. Rounds one, two, three, ten, and every fifth round after the PvE round you will have a choice of three items – their quality depends on whether you beat the preceding mob or not.

The great thing about Dota Underlords is that it is highly polished and has a very good balance. Besides, you will have an interesting time playing a typical but different autobattler.

Teamfight Tactics

Teamfight Tactics is another autochess-like game that you can access from Riot account (the one you use to launch League of Legends). Now it is the first season after it came out of beta. And the third set in overall.
