World of Warcraft Classic: First Aid Profession and Leveling Guide 1-300

World of Warcraft Classic is becoming more and more popular every day that is why we decided to make a series of guides that will help you level up your professions skills. This time we will tell you how to fast level your first aid profession in WoW Classic.

First Aid Profession, one of the basic ones, it will open the player the opportunity to create bandages and antidotes to increase their health and remove poison. You can use bandages on yourself, on other players, and even on some NPCs. You will be able to create bandages from cloth that drops from mobs. Moreover, the quality of the bandages depends on the quality of the cloth. The higher the level of the zone, the better the cloth drops. You just need to manage to level up your first aid skill.

You can make antidotes (anti-venom consumables) from venom sacs that drop from specific poisonous monsters. For example, like spiders, scorpids and some insects. In our World of Warcraft Classic: First Aid Profession and Leveling Guide 1-300, you will learn more about how to quickly level up first aid, where are the masters and what recipes are most in demand.

Bandages mechanics in Classic WoW

As First Aid was removed in Battle for Azeroth you will need to learn some mechanics that are used in WoW Classic:

  • Bandages can be applied once per 60 seconds for one player. You will see ‘Recently Bandaged‘ debuff, that shows when you can bandage the player again.
  • If someone deals damage to the player being bandaged it will cancel the healing and activate ‘Recently Bandaged’ debuff.
  • The healing process is channelling and the healer must not move or it will be cancelled. But the player being bandaged can move within the 15 yards radius.

How to level First Aid in Classic WoW

First Aid trainer locations

Apprentice (up to 75) and Journeyman (up to 150) First Aid can be learned in all capitals as well as other cities. In addition, the initial skill can be obtained in starting locations, for example at Dolanaar in Teldrassil (First Aid Trainer Byancie).

Alliance trainers:
Dannelor at the Craftsmen’s Terrace in Darnassus.
Nissa Firestone near the Great Forge in Ironforge.
Michelle Belle at Goldshire in Elwynn Forest.
Byancie at Dolanaar in Teldrassil.
Thamner Pol Kharanos in Dun Morogh.
Fremal Doohickey at Menethil Harbor in Wetlands.
Doctor Gustaf VanHowzen at Theramore in Dustwallow Marsh.

Horde trainers:
Arnok at the Valley of Spirits in Orgrimmar.
Pand Stonebinder at the Spirit Rise in Thunder Bluff.
Mary Edras at the Rogues’ Quarter in Undercity.
Rawrk at Razor Hill in Durotar.
Nurse Neela at Brill in Tirisfal Glades.
Vira Younghoof at Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore.
Doctor Gregory Victor at Hammerfall in Arathi Highlands.

How to level First Aid past 150?

When you level up the profession to 125, you will have a question, what to do next, because the trainer does not have Expert First Aid? In order to raise the First Aid skill after 150, you have to buy a book – “Expert First Aid – Under Wraps“. It is sold in different zones, depending on your faction:

For the Alliance
Deneb Walker is located at Stromgarde Keep in Arathi Highlands, on the northeast side by the chapel (27.2, 58.8);

For the Horde
Balai Lok’Wein located at Brackenwall Village in Dustwallow Marsh, between the caravans on the north side (36.4, 30.4).

Don’t forget to also buy 2 recipes for bandages from them:

  • Manual: Heavy Silk Bandage for 22 silver coins;
  • Manual: Mageweave Bandage for 50 silver coins.

Where do I train First Aid past 225?

In order to learn Artisan First Aid, you have to complete the “Triage” quest. For each faction, the NPC giving this quest is in different zones. After completing the quest, you can also learn new types of bandages, such as Heavy Mageweave Bandage, Runecloth Bandage and Heavy Runecloth Bandage.

For the Alliance
Doctor Gustaf VanHowzen is located at Theramore Isle in Dustwallow Marsh, inside Foothold Citadel on the first floor (67.8, 49.0)

For the Horde
Doctor Gregory Victor is located at Hammerfall in Arathi Highlands (73.4, 36.9)

To make it easier to find the right NPC, we recommend taking the quest Alliance Trauma or Horde Trauma, which is given by First Aid Trainers. For the Alliance, this is Nissa Firestone in Ironforge, and for the Horde, Arnok in Orgrimmar.

The main advantage of using bandages is to speed up the overall leveling of the character since between battles with mobs, you restore health faster. And even if your class has a heal, you still get an advantage due to the fact that you do not spend mana on healing using bandages.

In addition, bandages can also be used in PvP because they can be used during a battle, the main thing is to watch out so as not to knock down the channel. And of course, there are always events in the game related to the accumulation of resources, where a first-aid profession is useful, for example, as preparation for the opening of the gates of Ahn’qiraj.
