All Overwatch 2 Characters List

We have decided to make this an Overwatch 2 characters list to ease your navigation on the website. Here you will see not all the list of all Overwatch 2 characters grouped by their class but also find a link to a guide that will help you become better at the beloved character.

Now there are 36 characters in Overwatch 2 divided by their class but the number of the characters grows with every new battle pass, so we are sure that more to come. As for the classes, there are three of them: tank, damage, and support.

Below you will see three lists of characters that represent each class of Overwatch 2. The list will be updated as new characters will be added. Click on the portrait or name of the character to see the guide of that Overwatch character.

Tank

Tanks are usually in the vanguard. They can sustain damage, and initiate or stop team fights. Also, tanks in Overwatch 2 have decent damage which makes them kind of bruisers. All tanks have control, damaging, and defensive abilities to fulfil their tasks in leading the charge.

Damage

Damage characters in Overwatch 2 are very versatile. They have different playstyles that suit different situations. Some of them are long ranges snipers other would rather deal a lot of damage in melee. There are also damages whose task is to get to enemies’ backlines and kill their long-ranged damages. It is the hardest class to play in Overwatch 2 but the effort you put into learning to play it will definitely pay off when you carry your team to victory.

Support

Supports are needed in every game as they give confidence to other players and make it easier for them to overdue their tasks. Overwatch 2 has characters who heal and also deal damage or those who heal and boost the damage of other players. Even though some supports can deal decent damage themselves it is worth remembering that the main task is to help your teammates win. Offensive abilities are given to protect themselves or support with damage.
