There are 40 challenges in PoE. Some are easy to obtain during levelling, and others are harder or almost impossible to achieve. In our Path of Exile, The Forbidden Sanctum League Challenges Complete Guide you will read the tips that will help you do as many PoE challenges as you can or even all 40 if that is your goal.
Our guide is presented in the rating difficulty list. That means that we have divided the full The Forbidden Sanctum challenges list into three difficulties: easy (the most part of them you’ll do while levelling), normal (you can obtain them with minimal effort), and hard (needed to accomplish the full challenge league trophy).
This challenge league has a more simplified challenge accomplishment system. You can get a set (with improvements in look with every new completed challenge) and a challenger trophy from completing all 40 challenges. Sets will be awarded in parts from level 6 every 2 completed challenges you will earn a part of a set. For 38 challenges you get the full upgraded set. The trophy as usual you start collecting from level 19 till level 40. Due to the fact that now you get more cosmetics every 2 challenges, you can stop at any point if it is hard for you to go further. But in any case, the Lake of Kalandra League Challenges are not too hard this time.
As we have already said you’ll see them get completed while you play and level up your champion. If you finish the last act you’d probably have all the following 10 challenges completed.
Complete each of the following tasks.
You can do it in Act I. Nessa sells Orbs and Tarkleigh sells weapons (if there are no 3 linked sockets item level up and check again). The Fetid Pool entrance is in The Mud Flats area.
Complete each of the following encounters.
This is related to new mechanics. You can read all details in Path of Exile 3.20 The Forbidden Sanctum Mechanics Guide.
Complete vendor recipes to receive each of the following items. A vendor recipe is when you trade a specific combination of items to a vendor, not when you buy items from their purchase screen.
Hybrid Flask – Vendor 1 Orb of Fusing with 1 Life Flask and 1 Mana Flask.
Onyx Amulet (normal) – Vendor 1 amulet with 1 red skill gem, 1 green skill gem, and 1 blue skill gem.
Jeweller’s Orb – Vendor 1 Orb of Fusing with 1 Chromatic Orb. OR a 6-socket item.
Orb of Chance – Vendor 2 Identified rare items with same name.

Defeat each of the following Unique Act Bosses.
You will find these bosses at the end of each act as referred to above. Kill them and you are done.
Complete each of the following encounters.

Defeat each of the following Unique Act Bosses.
You will find these bosses at the end of each act as referred to above.
Corrupt Jewels to achieve each of the following outcomes.
Use Vaal Orb on jewels of the relevent types to get such outcomes (they are random).
Complete vendor recipes to receive each of the following items. A vendor recipe is when you trade a specific combination of items to a vendor, not when you buy items from their purchase screen.
Orb of Fusing – Vendor 1 6-linked item.
Unique Item – Vendor 3 unique items of the same name, not corrupted and have the same explicit.
Gilded Scarab – Vendor 3 the same Polished Scarab.
Exalted Shard – Vendor Identified, full set of the same influenced items OR Unidentified, full set of the same influenced items.
Use any three of the following Exalted Orb Currencies.
You can read about these orbs in Path of Exile 3.16 Scourge League Tainted Orbs Explained post. as fpr the Eldritch and Conqueror you can buy them or recieve as drop from maps of the relevant influence.
These challenges are as hardy autocomplete as the previous ones. Here you’ll need to do some research, but they are also pretty easy to obtain.
Defeat Atziri, Queen of the Vaal in The Apex of Sacrifice.
This is not hard. You just need to know how to unlock the map. You can read about it in How to Unlock All Endgame Bosses in Path of Exile.
Complete each of the following Anarchy encounters.
Anarchy was the first challenge league in PoE, all details about its encounters you can read here. You should also take nodes in the Atlas skill tree to meet them more frequently.
Complete each of the following Domination encounters.
Activate skill in Atlas skill tree to meet more shrines and also craft maps (activate it in map device as well) with shrines and of you go farming.
Complete each of the following Beyond encounters.
This is related to Beyond mechanics. Also, you need to activate Delirium and get a Shrine.
Complete one of any of the following rooms in the Forbidden Sanctum.
This is related to new mechanics. You can read all details in Path of Exile 3.20 The Forbidden Sanctum Mechanics Guide.
Complete each of the following Breach encounters.

Complete each of the following Encounters.

Read our Path of Exile Simulacrum Guide to complete this challenge. Delirium can be met on maps though.
Complete each of the following Ritual encounters.
This is related to old mechanics. You can read all details in Path of Exile Ritual League Challenges Complete Guide.
Complete a floor in the Forbidden Sanctum while affected by three of the following Accursed Pacts.
Pacts can be unlocked in Act 7, when you return to the Forbidden Sanctum in The Fellshrine Ruins. It will be mentioned as a league-specific quest. Read more about the current league in Path of Exile 3.20 The Forbidden Sanctum Mechanics Guide.
Use the Ascendancy Device in all 4 Labyrinths.
To complete all Ascendancy Trials read Path of Exile: Labyrinth Trials Guide.
Defeat 50 of any Beyond, Breach, Delirium or Harbinger boss in Maps.
You will find all of these bosses guides in How to Find All Endgame League Specific Bosses in Path of Exile.
Complete a floor in the Forbidden Sanctum while affected by 17 of the following Afflictions or Boons.
They will be random, you can read which one is applied. Boons you can by in a related room. Read more in Path of Exile 3.20 The Forbidden Sanctum Mechanics Guide.
Complete each of the following Unique Maps.
Any of them can be purchased on PoE trade. Also, you can unlock passives in Atlas skill tree to get them faster. And check Kirac shop and missions, he usually has them too.
Complete each of the following Bestiary encounters.

Complete each of the following Delve encounters.
You need to play in Delve. As for the bosses, you can read more about them here.
Defeat the following monsters in the Forbidden Sanctum while the area is level 78 or higher.
These areas are mentioned when you choose a room to clear. Read more in Path of Exile 3.20 The Forbidden Sanctum Mechanics Guide.
Complete each of the following Incursion encounters.
To complete this challenge you need to complete Alva missions and clear the Temple of Atzoatl. Try to upgrade rooms to tier 3 3 times in our temple. Or you can buy it on PoE trade. Some information you can read here.
Complete each of the following Betrayal encounters.
Catarina, Master of Undeath there you’ll find information about this challenge.
Kill 1,000,000 monsters in areas that are level 68 or higher.
Nothing special, but time-consuming just clear maps.
Complete Atlas Memory Maps that have at least 100% Item Quantity and are Tier 14 or higher.
Such maps you can buy on PoE trade or craft them yourself using related currency.
Defeat 250 Rare Monsters that have four modifiers.
They have reworked how Archnemesis mobs appear in the base game once more. Now, areas will have much fewer rares and magic monsters than before, but they will be slightly higher and give more loot to compensate. Certain Archnemesis mods also drop special rewards just like how they did in Archnemesis League. Some archnemesis may be quite rare to spawn but thankfully this challenge only needs to find 10 out of 15 of them, so should be easy enough, not much RNG is needed for this.
Complete 30 Maps that are Corrupted, have 8 Map mods and are Tier 14 or higher while you are being witnessed by The Maven.
You can read more about it in Path of Exile Echoes of the Atlas Guide. But Maven is also an endgame boss, which you can fight, read here. Such maps you can buy on PoE trade or craft them yourself using related currency.
Use at least three Eldritch Altars in a single Map the specified number of times.
Path of Exile Siege of the Atlas Mechanics has information about this challenge. It is the mechanics of the current Atlas.
These challenges may cause more difficulties and extra effort to complete them. Such as an extra farm of content and tactics and mechanics on killing end-game bosses.
Complete each of the following encounters.
Just play the Forbidden Sanctum with these conditions and as much as you can.
Complete each of the following on your Atlas.
More about Atlas Mechanics you can read in Path of Exile Siege of the Atlas Mechanics. As for the map bonuses, white maps (1-5 tier) should be magic, yellow maps (6-10) should be rare, and red maps (11+) should be rare and corrupted to unlock bonus objectives. Defeat the following Forbidden Sanctum floor bosses in the specified ways while the area is level 83.
We will update this part. It is about the endgame of the current league.
Complete each of the following Invitations while they have at least 80% Item Quantity.

Defeat any five of the following Pinnacle Boss Encounters in the specified ways.

Complete any four of these encounters the specified number of times.
