Path of Exile Utimatum League Challenges Complete Guide

There are 40 challenges in PoE. Some are easy to obtain during levelling, others are harder or almost impossible to achieve. In our Path of Exile, Ultimatum League Challenges Complete Guide you will read the tips that will help you do as many PoE challenges as you can even all 40 if that is your goal.

Our guide is presented in the rating difficulty list. That means that we have divided the full Ultimatum challenges list into four difficulties: easy (the most part of them you’ll do while levelling), normal (you can obtain them with a minimal effort), hard (you’ll need to try and repeat several times to do them), very hard (you’ll need to farm numerous maps and know and be able to kill end-game bosses). If you want to get 20 challenge completed you can combine challenges from different difficulty levels to pick the most appropriate ones for you.

Easy Difficulty Ultimatum Challenges

As we have already said you’ll see them get completed while you play and level-up your champion. If you finish the last act you’d probably have all the following 12 challenges completed.

Mastering the Basics

Equip or allocate each of the following items or passive skills:

• Coral Ring
• Magic Flask
• Keystone Passive Skill

It is very easy, you will loot the first two at the very beginning of the game, just be sure to equip them. Even if you will not use them, just equip so it counts for the challenge. As for the keystone passive skill, it is one of the big passive skills, any build needs at least one of them.

Complete Ultimatum Encounters I

Complete each of the following encounters:

• Apply a Modifier to an Ultimatum encounter
• Complete an Ultimatum encounter without completing all waves
• Complete all waves of an Ultimatum encounter

It is a part of the challenge league mechanics. You can read more about it in our Path of Exile 3.14 Ultimatum Mechanics Guide. But in a few words, just try to pick any of Ultimatum league modifiers when you activate the trial and complete any number of trials. On the next trial complete the other part of the challenge.

Complete these Quests

Complete each of the following quests:

• A Dirty Job
  • In Act 1, clear the fetid pool by killing all the monsters found in the area.
• A Fixture of Fate
  • In Act 3, Collect the 4 golden pages for Siosa after talking to him in the Library.
• The King’s Feast
  • In Act 5, After unleashing Kitava on the world, find Utala in the Ruined Square and kill him.
• In Memory of Greust
  • In Act 7, After killing Gruest, talk to Helena and take his amulet to place it on the Azmeri shrine in the Northern Forest.
• Fastis Fortuna
  • In Act 9, kill Boulderack in the Foothills and deliver the Calendar of Fortune to Petarus and Vanja.

All these are side-quests, you will see them coloured in blue under the minimap. Don’t skip them and make sure to complete all of them.

Defeat these Act Bosses I

Defeat each of the following Unique Act Bosses:

• Act 1: Merveil, the Twisted
• Act 2: Vaal Oversoul
• Act 3: Dominus, Ascendant
• Act 4: Malachai, The Nightmare
• Act 5: Kitava, the Insatiable

You will need to kill of them anyway as you progress through the storyline.

Complete Encounters I

Complete each of the following encounters:

• Defeat a Rogue Exile
  • A Rogue Exile is a monster that looks just like a player and will drop a set of equipment when slain. They can be easily found anywhere throughout the game.
• Use a Remnant of Corruption on an Essence Monolith
  • An Essence Monolith is a pack of monsters that are frozen in crystal, players will have to click them 3 times to release them, and will drop essence(s) when slain. These essences can be used to turn normal items into rare ones with 1 guaranteed mod, which changes depending on the essence type and scaling depending on the tier of the essence. Sometimes an essence monster will have a Remnant of Corruption when encountering it. Defeating this monster will drop it. Using a Remnant of Corruption on a non-corrupted essence corrupts it, changing results unexpectedly. Click here to buy Remnants of Corruption.
• Complete a Breach
  • You’ll start to encounter these in end game maps. Breach encounters will look like a giant purple hand coming out from the ground, walking over the hand will expand a circle outwards and spawn breach monsters within the circle; the faster the monsters are killed the faster the circle expands. After a while, the expansion of the breach will slow down until it eventually retracts quickly and closes. There are 5 types of breaches that can be encountered, each with its own boss area if you can gather 100 of the respective element’s splinters dropped from breach monsters.
• Complete an Abyss
  • You’ll start to encounter Abyssal encounters after Act 6 onward. Upon walking over an abyss encounter, a crack will form on the ground, and a small number of monsters will spawn from it. As you follow the crack it will extend until ending with a pit which will spawn more monsters. After you clear monsters fast enough, it may start a new crack from the pit to follow, or reveal an abyssal chest that will drop some items including Abyssal Jewels that can be used on your passive tree, or if you’re lucky enough, an Abyssal Depth area will spawn that contain more treasure with a greater challenge.

All of these are simple old challenge leagues mechanics, just don’t skip them as you go.

Complete Ultimatum Encounters II

Complete all waves of the following types of Ultimatum encounters:

• Defeat waves of enemies
• Survive
• Stand in the Stone Circles
• Protect the Altar

When you approach an Ultimatum trial you will see a condition that you must follow in order to complete the encounter. Make sure to complete each of the following above.

Use these Currency Items

Use each of the following currency items to modify items.

• Essence
• Fossil
• Blight Oil
• Metamorph Catalyst

All of them are a part of old challenge leagues mechanics. You will obtain essences from the very beginning. Fossils will drop on maps, or you can get them from Ultimatum as a reward. First Blight Oil you will get on the first map that you will open from a map device. Also, you will meet Metamorph encounters on maps. But catalysts can also drop on maps. Any of these currencies can be bought from other players.

Defeat these Act Bosses II

Defeat each of the following Unique Act Bosses.

• Act 6: Tsoagoth, The Brine King
• Act 7: Arakaali, Spinner of Shadows
• Act 8: Lunaris, Eternal Moon and Solaris, Eternal Sun
• Act 9: The Depraved Trinity
• Act 10: Kitava, the Insatiable

You will need to kill of them anyway as you progress through the storyline.

Complete Vendor Recipes

Complete vendor recipes to receive each of the following items. A vendor recipe is when you trade a specific pattern of items to a vendor, not when you buy items from his/her purchase screen.

• Chromatic Orb
  • Vendor an item with 3 linked sockets that are red, blue and green.
• Jeweller’s Orb
  • Vendor an item with 6 sockets or 1 orb of fusing and 1 chromatic orb.
• Gemcutter’s Prism
  • Sell a gem with 20% quality to any vendor for a Gemcutter’s Prism or sell any number of gems whose total quality is at least 40% to any vendor.
• Prismatic Ring
  • Vendor the 3 different types of Two-stone Rings (fire and cold, cold and lightning, lightning and fire).
• Jade Flask
  • Vendor a Ruby, Sapphire and Topaz flask each with the “of reflexes” mod to get a Jade flask. Use Alterations or Bestiary crafting to get the mods you want on the flasks.
• 20% Quality Gem
  • Vendor a level 20 uncorrupted gem with a Gemcutter’s Prism for a 20% quality level 1 gem.
• Inscribed Ultimatum
  • Vendor 3(needs confirmation) Inscribed Ultimatums of the same type (needs confirmation) to get another random Inscribed Ultimatum.
• Metamorph Catalyst
  • Vendor 3 of the same type of catalyst. Catalysts are mainly obtained from the Metamorph league mechanic.

Turn in Divination Cards

Turn in Divination Cards which specifically grant each of the following reward types.

• Stack of Currency
• Unique Map
• Item Level 100 Item
• Two-Implicit Corrupted Unique Item
• 23% Quality Gem
• Influenced Item

If you see Ultimatum trial don’t forget to check whether it gives you one of the following rewards. In any case, if you want to complete challenges you will need to farm many trials and get these rewards in no time.

Complete Ritual Encounters

Complete each of the following Ritual encounters.

• Complete a Ritual
• Defer a Favour
• Reroll Favours
• Use a Blood-filled Vessel in your Map Device

These are parts of the Path of Exile 3.13 Ritual League Mechanics Guide, the full description you can see in the link before. You will see Ritual encounters on maps with an 8% chance.

Normal Difficulty Ultimatum Challenges

These challenges are hardy autocomplete as the previous ones. Here you’ll need to do some research, but they are also pretty easy to obtain.

Complete Encounters II

Complete each of the following encounters.

• Pass through a Delirium Mirror
• Successfully complete a Rare Blighted Map
• Defeat a Legion General
• Defeat Omnitect in Temple of Atzoatl

Delirium is a past league mechanic that greatly enhances monsters and loot while also adding in new monsters and modifiers for the players to fight. Near the start of an area or map, you will occasionally see a foggy mirror that you must walk through to start the encounter. You will start randomly encountering these mirrors from act 5 onwards.

You can only get blighted maps from blight encounters in maps and some league mechanics. You can buy them from other players too and they’re mostly pretty cheap, especially for the low tiers. Try to make as many Scout Towers as you can in blighted maps as they act as strong summons aiding your fight, making them super useful when your build is not that strong at clearing monsters. You can also make use of a Lira Arthain atlas passive to increase the drop rate of blighted maps. Anointing blighted maps can also make the fights easier and/or more rewarding.

A Legion encounter is a giant purple crystal that will release 2 legions of monsters on two sides of the crystal when activated. Damaging the enemies while they are in stasis will free them when the timer runs out, where they can be fought and killed for loot. Legion encounters can only be found in maps. Sometimes legion encounters will also have legion generals present, which can be seen by the purple tendrils at the purple crystal pointing towards the general when you first click it.

The Vaal Omnitect is the boss for the Incursion league mechanic. Starting from act 9 you will randomly encounter Alva in areas and she will send you on a mission to the past to build a Vaal temple that you will then be able to raid for loot and experience in the present day once it is complete(after 12 trips to the past). The Omnitect is located at the top of the temple and you must successfully open up a path to the boss in order to be able to fight and defeat it.

Complete Encounters III

Complete each of the following encounters.

• Defeat a Possessed Unique Monster
• Open a Unique Strongbox
• Make a trade with Cadiro Perandus
• Complete a Grand Heist

Tormented Spirits are monsters that look like green-ghostly spirits that roam around and will run away from you when you go near them. They can also touch/possess rare or unique monsters that cause those influenced monsters to gain new abilities and drop more loot. This challenge requires you to kill a unique monster that has been possessed, which requires you to push a Torment Spirit towards a unique monster so that they will possess the monster, this is the normal way of doing it but there are many ways of finding and killing possessed monsters easier such as using the Possessed Foe prophecy.

A Unique Strongbox can be easily found in the Obas Cursed Trove unique map, or from Zana’s Mission that asks for the opening of a unique strongbox, or from Haku in fortification in Betrayal. You can also test your luck by using an orb of chance on a strongbox and hoping it’ll turn unique. Most of the time throughout playing the game you’re bound to come across a unique strongbox fairly regularly.

Using a perandus scarab or from certain atlas passive points, you will be able to encounter Cadiro who you can trade items for using Perandus coins dropped by perandus chests that spawn alongside Cadiro. Certain Janus safehouses may also include Cadiro.

A blueprint can be obtained practically anywhere, but at slightly a rarer rate than a normal Heist contract drops. After you reveal some of the rooms/wings with Whakano at the cost of Rogue Markers and plan which rogues you will choose for the heist in the Planning Room which is located in the middle of Rogue Harbor town, it can be used to start a Grand Heist by bringing the confirmed item to Adiyah to activate it. Below is a table of what types of blueprints give what rewards.

All of these are mechanics from previous leagues. You can find any of them in our blog in search for more details. But you might not need them to complete the challenge.

Complete Encounters IV

Complete each of the following encounters.

• Defeat The Sanguine Siren in Crimson Temple Map while all players are affected by Temporal Chains
  • The boss of this map will sometimes cast Temporal Chains on the players in the arena. Wait until they have cast it before bursting the boss down. Alternatively, you may use a self curse item such as Shackles of the Wretched or Rotblood Promise to curse yourself with Temporal Chains and kill the boss. Maps can also roll a “Players are affected by Temporal Chains” mod. You may also use the Kaom’s Roots boots so that you are not too slow when fighting the boss. • Defeat Blackguard Avenger and Blackguard Tempest in Promenade Map while all players are affected by Conductivity
  • Similar to the Sanguine Siren, these bosses place areas near them that inflict curses. Stand in these areas while killing the bosses to complete this part of the challenge. Alternatively, you may use a self curse item such as Shackles of the Wretched or Rotblood Promise to curse yourself with Conductivity and kill the bosses. You will want to use a low-level curse and a topaz flask to ensure you don’t get bursted down while you have lower lightning resistance. Click here to buy Promenade maps in Softcore Ultimatum.
• Defeat Nightmare’s Omen in Primordial Pool Map while there are at least 8 Rune Traps active
  • As you continue to fight the Nightmare’s Omen in the Primordial Pool map, the boss will slowly spawn rune traps that will activate and explode once you step on them. In order to get 8 Rune traps active, you have to wait around until they spawn and not activate them. A tanky or evasive build is advised for this as you may need to wait a bit for the runes to spawn. Click here to buy Primordial Pool maps in Softcore Ultimatum.
• Defeat Mirage of Bones in Leyline Map while there are at least 3 Clones active
  • While fighting the Mirage of Bones, it will occasionally use Blink Arrow or Mirror Arrow and make clones of itself to try and bamboozle you. Wait until the boss has made 3 clones of themselves and kill them. An easy way to tell the clones apart is that the clones can’t move or use abilities so watch out for that. Also, the main boss will still have the debuffs you have put on it so also look out for that too. Click here to buy Leyline maps in Softcore Ultimatum.

Try to do these challenges on lower-tier maps and you’ll be fine. But if you still have any problems you can ask for help in chat.

Complete Encounters V

Complete each of the following encounters.

• Upgrade a Breachstone using a Breach Blessing
• Open a Labyrinth Trial from your Hideout
• Use a Veiled Chaos Orb
• Itemise an Incursion Temple

From the 3.14 patch onwards, you can now use Breach Blessings to upgrade breachstones to higher tiers. Blessings can only upgrade their respective breachstones. You get Blessings by defeating Breachlords. To gain access to kill a Breachlord, you have to collect a stack of 100 Breach splinters (which are gained from killing monsters in breaches) which will automatically turn into Breachstone.

The Lord’s Labyrinth was changed in patch 3.14, you will now get a choice of 3 helmet enchantments to choose from in the Eternal labyrinth! In addition, you also have a small chance of getting extremely powerful unique jewels from the labyrinth reward chests. You can now use an offering to the Goddess in the map device to spawn a random trial in your hideout, which will allow SSF players to get their lab trials much more easily. Following a revamp to the Betrayal reward system, a new Veiled Chaos Orb has been introduced which works like a normal Chaos Orb but also guarantees an additional veiled mod, which has been buffed substantially in the 3.14 patch. You can get Veiled Chaos Orbs from completing Betrayal Safehouses the most, namely with Aisling. These are also tradable. Click here to buy Veiled Chaos Orbs.

Incursion improvements mean that you can now receive a map-item of a completed Temple of Atzoatl that can be traded to players or saved up and ran all at once if you so wish! When you’re about to run a completed Temple of Atzoatl, click the itemise button to receive a trade-able and save-able version of your temple!

Complete Ultimatum Encounters III

Complete the final wave of an Ultimatum encounter while the encounter has at least the following number of waves.

• Two
• Three
• Four
• Five
• Six
• Seven
• Eight
• Nine

Actually it is easy. Just complete the full sequence of Ultimatum encounters until you succeed in the whole line of trials. But the most number of them will open on maps.

Defeat the Conquerors of the Atlas

Defeat each of the following Conquerors of the Atlas.

• Baran, The Crusader while the area has at least 80% Item Quantity
• Veritania, The Redeemer while the area has at least 80% Item Quantity
• Al-Hezmin, The Hunter while the area has at least 80% Item Quantity
• Drox, The Warlord while the area has at least 80% Item Quantity
• Sirus, Awakener of Worlds

Achieve Ascension

Use the Ascendancy Device in each of the following Labyrinths.

• The Labyrinth
• The Cruel Labyrinth
• The Merciless Labyrinth
• The Eternal Labyrinth

The first three trials are easy enough as for the fourth one, it’ll open only on maps. You can read all tips regarding Labyrinths in Path of Exile: Labyrinth Trials Guide. You can now use an offering to the Goddess in the map device to spawn a random trial in your hideout, which will allow SSF players to get their lab trials much more easily. Reach level 90

Attain character level 90. This challenge still counts even if your character dies afterwards.

You just need to play and try not to die. It can be hard task with poor builds, so pick a decent one.

Complete Ultimatum Encounters IV

Complete the final wave of an Ultimatum encounter while it has each of following modifiers.

• Choking Miasma
• Stormcaller Runes
• Raging Dead
• Blistering Cold
• Restless Ground
• Stalking Ruin
• Razor Dance
• Totem of Costly Might
• Totem of Costly Potency
• Limited Arena
• Reduced Recovery
• Lessened Reach
• Buffs Expire Faster
• Less Cooldown recovery
• Escalating Damage Taken
• Escalating Monster Speed
• Bonus Chaos Damage
• Unlucky Criticals
• Hindering Flasks

Complete Unique Maps x15

Complete any 15 of the following 18 Unique Maps on your Atlas. A Map is completed by killing its Unique Boss or Bosses if it has any. Maps without Unique Bosses are completed by opening specific Unique Chests.

• Vaults of Atziri
• Maelström of Chaos
• The Coward’s Trial
• Acton’s Nightmare
• Poorjoy’s Asylum
• Mao Kun
• Oba’s Cursed Trove
• Olmec’s Sanctum
• Death and Taxes
• Whakawairua Tuahu
• The Vinktar Square
• Caer Blaidd, Wolfpack’s Den
• The Putrid Cloister
• Hallowed Ground
• The Twilight Temple
• Pillars of Arun
• Perandus Manor
• Doryani’s Machinarium

You can complete any of them actually. But there are 3 that are hard to complete or to obtain. So we recommend you skip Perandus Manor, The Putrid Cloister, and Doryani’s Machinarium. The prices can change so you can check them yourself.

Complete Ultimatum Encounters VI

Complete the final wave of an Ultimatum encounter while affected by each of the following high-tier modifiers.

• Choking Miasma III
• Stormcaller Runes III
• Raging Dead III
• Blistering Cold III
• Restless Ground III
• Stalking Ruin III
• Razor Dance III
• Ruin III

You can try to complete some of them even during levelling. Just max one of the modifiers from the list above if you are sure that you can cope with the encounter.

Defeat The Maven

Accept The Maven’s Invitation and defeat The Maven

Hard Difficulty Ultimatum Challenges

These challenges may cause more difficulties and extra effort to complete them. Such as extra farm of content and tactics and mechanics on killing end-game bosses.

Complete Encounters VI

Complete each of the following encounters.

• Crack open Essence Monoliths x150
• Complete Breaches x75
• Open Strongboxes x200
• Defeat Harbingers x150
• Open Smuggler’s Caches x75
• Harvest Plots of seeds x200
• Open Maps with Fortune Favours the Brave x30

Complete The Maven’s Crucible

Complete The Maven’s Crucible while it has at least the following number of bosses.

• Three
• Four
• Five
• Six
• Ten

Complete Encounters VII

Complete each of the following encounters.

• Defeat a Metamorph in Tane’s Laboratory
  • It shouldn’t be a puzzling task. Read our Path of Exile Metamorph League Mechanics Guide to learn all the details.
• Defeat a Delve Boss
  • There are three bosses in Delve. You can find them deep in Delve as you clear it. These bosses are:
    Ahuatotli, the Blind – delve 22 or deeper.
    Kurgal, the Blackblooded – delve 51 or deeper.
    Aul, the Crystal King – delve 150 or deeper.
    All of them are located in underground cities (the parts of Delve marked with bold lines).
• Defeat a Bestiary Boss
  • These bosses are very rare and you can meet them while you are on a mission with Einhar Frey. The names of these bosses are:
    Saqawal, First of the Sky
    Craiceann, First of the Deep
    Fenumus, First of the Night
    Farrul, First of the Plains
    If you experience any difficulties in finding them it will be much easier to buy a bestiary orb with this beast on PoE trade. We have Path of Exile Bestiary League Guide where you can find some extra tips.
• Defeat a Map Boss while under the effects of a Divine Shrine
  • Divine Shrine makes you undamageable. It will be a good idea to find this shrine first, but don’t activate it. Then clear the location and taunt the boss next to this shrine, after that activate it and kill the boss.

Allocate Atlas Passive Trees

Allocate ten passive skill points in each of the following Atlas Passive Trees.

• Haewark Hamlet
• Tirn’s End
• Lex Proxima
• Lex Ejoris
• New Vastir
• Glennach Cairns
• Valdo’s Rest
• Lira Arthain

Complete Maps with Eight Mods

Complete 30 Red Tier Rare Maps while they have 8 mods. Maps having 8 mods is a potential outcome of Vaal Orb corruption. These Maps are completed by killing their Unique Bosses. Sextants, Scarabs and Zana mods do not count towards the mod count of this challenge.

These maps you can get only via corruption with Vaal orb. Or you can buy them on PoE trade.

Defeat Betrayal Targets x9

Defeat any 9 of the following 17 Betrayal Targets while they are Captains in the Mastermind encounter.

• Haku
• Elreon
• Tora
• Vagan
• Vorici
• Hillock
• Leo
• Guff
• Janus Perandus
• It That Fled
• Gravicius
• Thane Jorgin
• Korell Goya
• Rin Yuushu
• Cameria
• Aisling Laffrey
• Riker Maloney

You can change captains as you meet Betrayal encounters so make sure to prepare new ones every time you approach fight with Catarina.

Defeat Endgame Bosses

Defeat each of the following endgame boss encounters.

• The Elder
• The Shaper
• Atziri in the Alluring Abyss
• Pale Council
• Heart of the Grove

To complete this Ultimatum Challenge you will need a good build and experience of killing end-game bosses. In the new 3.14 patch, the Heart of the Grove is now a boss fight that can be encountered by using Sacred Blossom in a map device, that sometimes drop from Tier 4 seed bosses that are found in Harvest encounters.

Complete Ultimatum Encounters V

Complete the final wave of an Ultimatum encounter while under each of the following conditions.

• While you have 6 stacks of Ruin
• While you have 50% Escalating Vulnerability
• While affected by Impotence
• While affected by Costly Might

To complete this challenge you need to know more details about Ultimatum modifiers that we have written about in Path of Exile 3.14 Ultimatum Modifiers Guide. For example, 6 stacks of Ruin and 50% Escalating Vulnerability you can wait as they stack and then finish the encounter. Impotence is a modifier that affects you every 8 seconds, you need to keep an eye on your buff panel while you try to complete it. Costly Might casts a totem that can debuff you, try to get it before you end the trial.

Complete Encounters VIII

Complete each of the following encounters.

• Defeat Olof, Son of the Headsman in Pit Map while both he and you are Taunted
  • Try to lower his HP as low as possible then wait till he casts his warcry. After that use Enduring Cry with taunt and finish him off.
• Defeat Tyrant in Colonnade Map while both he and all players are affected by Molten Shell
  • Lower his HP as low as you can, wait until he casts Molten Sell, activate your Molten Shell and kill the boss. You need to remember that Molten Shell grants bonus armour and absorbs incoming hits. So the easiest way to complete this challenge is to play with DOT build, like the one that uses Blight.
• Defeat The Primal One in Thicket Map while he is using his Repeated Sunder skill and without being hit by Sunder
  • To complete this challenge it is desirable to have a ranged build with good mobility. Try to lower boss’ HP as low as you can without killing him. And after he starts to cast Repeated Sunder kill him. Use Decoy totem far from you to avoid his attacks of Sunder.
• Defeat Uul-Netol, Unburdened Flesh after activating each of her four portals in an area level of 81 or higher
  • A good build with high physical reduction is recommended and Unti-bleed skills or flasks. Wait until Uul-Netol spawns portals before killing the boss.

Defeat The Trialmaster

In the end game, you will be challenged by Trialmaster more and more. That’s how you’ll get to the 10th wave of the trial, which will be a boss fight with him. Be ready to be taken to the boss room and fight on his terms.

Complete Ultimatum Encounters VII

Complete Inscribed Ultimatums with each of the following Challenges in areas with an area level of 81 or higher.

• Defeat waves of enemies
• Survive
• Protect the Altar
• Stand in the Stone Circles

You can get Inscribed Ultimatums as drop on maps or buy them from other players. Make sure to have the modes need to complete this challenge on them.

Open the Vaal Repository

Enter the Vaal Reliquary and open the Vaal Repository.

Vaal Reliquary key drop randomly from monsters on high levels closer to end-game with a very low chance. But you can buy them on PoE trade if you are not lucky to loot them.

Very Hard Difficulty Ultimatum Challenges

To complete the following four challenges you will need as much time as one week and a decent build for completing the top end-game content and bosses.

Atlas Exploration

Complete 150 Maps in each region of the Atlas.

• Haewark Hamlet x150
• Tirn’s End x150
• Lex Proxima x150
• Lex Ejoris x150
• New Vastir x150
• Glennach Cairns x150
• Valdo’s Rest x150
• Lira Arthain x150

When you clear maps don’t forget to see the counter of this challenge to see how many of them left to go. Tier of the map doesn’t influence the score, you can complete it while clear all low level maps.

Defeat The Trialmaster Conditionally

Complete each of the following encounters.

• Defeat The Trialmaster without any player being hit by Blood Orb
• Defeat The Trialmaster without any player being hit by Spear Pulse
• Defeat The Trialmaster after collecting all of his hostile currency
• Defeat The Trialmaster while affected by Trialmaster’s Tether and without any player being hit by the Trialmasters Heart

We have written above how to find The Trialmaster who shows up on the 10th wave of Ultimatum trials. As for the conditions, you’ll need to have a well-geared build with decent damage to burst boss while avoiding his abilities. Or a mobile build that can dodge boss’ attacks.

Complete Deadly Encounters

Complete each of the following encounters while the area is affected by the specified map modifier.

• Maven’s Invitation: The Formed with “Monsters are Hexproof”
• Maven’s Invitation: The Twisted with “-x% Maximum Player Resistances”
• Maven’s Invitation: The Forgotten with “Players gain 50% reduced Flask Charges”
• Maven’s Invitation: The Hidden with “Monsters fire 2 additional Projectiles”
• Maven’s Invitation: The Feared with “Monsters have 100% increased Area of Effect”

To complete this challenge you need to complete endgame special Maven’s Invitations with specific modifiers. You can find the list of these invitations in Path of Exile Echoes of the Atlas Guide. You can get them as a drop (as mentioned in the guide) or buy them on PoE trade and modes you can craft. Prepare for a great challenge here.

Complete Endgame Grinds x4

Complete any four of these encounters the specified number of times.

• Level 100
• Defeat Argus in the Endgame Labyrinth x100
• Complete Delve encounters at an area level of 80 or higher in the Azurite Mine x500
• Spend Ritual Tribute on Favours or Rerolls. Tribute spent on Rerolls is treated as if there are no-cost reductions applied. x2000000
• Defeat the Mastermind x20
• Complete Modifiers in Inscribed Ultimatums x600

No need to do all of them but choose 4 the most appropriate and easy for you. We recommend skipping reaching level 100 as it is time-consuming and Spend Ritual Tribute on Favours or Rerolls as it is. As for the other ones do the ones you think are the easiest for you.

At 12, 24 and 36 challenges, you’ll earn the Ultimatum Helmet, Ultimatum Pet and the Ultimatum Portal respectively. Completing challenges also grants you pieces of the Ultimatum Totem Pole Hideout decoration.
