Diablo Immortal unlike all previous Diablo series is free to play. So obviously it has a different monetization system. Despite all recent critical points of view Diablo Immortal doesn’t force you to buy anything. When you donate to the game you unlock cosmetics or get more items that help you farm faster. But you can play effectively without donating. It is not a must to get the top legendary gem today and spend thousands of dollars on it. Noone guarantees you to get what you want and it is called balance. So unlike many other free to play games in Diablo Immortal, you cannot pay for becoming the top player. You actually need to play the game and show off your skills, not your wallet. Anyway, in this post, we will explain how Diablo Immortal Battle Pass works.
On daily basis, you can get rewards for accomplishing different tasks. There are several daily rewarding systems in Diablo Immortal, but the first one you see as you start playing the game is the Battle Pass system.
As in any other game Diablo Immortal Battle Pass is active for a particular period of time. Now it is the first season of Battle Pass that will last for more 27 days. You can see the countdown in the top left corner of the image above. Also, you can see that there are two bars of Battle Pass with rewards. The first one contains free rewards and the second one contains additional rewards that you get for unlocking the Empowered battle pass in the shop.
To do so visit the shop from the menu and click on services in the list. There you will see two offers for Empowered Battle Pass. The price is different the first one is cheaper and the second one is higher. We don’t include prices here as they depend on your region as we are from Ukraine we can see the price in UAH you will see your relevant prices.
Anyway, the difference between these two paid Diablo Immortal Battle Passes is in what you get for your purchase. Both of them unlock you additional rewards for ranking the battle pass, but the Collector’s Empowered Battle pass also grants you cosmetics and a Rank boost at once.
By the way, you can rank up in two different ways as well. The first one is a freeway – open your Codex (click on it on the left side of the screen). There you will see the window that explains how to get battle pass points in Diablo Immortal.
You get a fixed amount of Battle Pass points every time you complete a daily activity from the list that you see in your codex. The featured activity is random and changes every day but you get double points for completing it. Also, in this window, you can see the battle pass experience bar so you know how many points are left till the next rank up.
There are 40 ranks in total and you need to rank up in time to receive all the rewards. If you see that you are not making it in time You can rank up by spending some eternal orbs. These orbs are Diablo Immortal’s currency that you can exchange for different goods. One of them as we have mentioned is ranking up your battle pass. When you click on “Rank Up” from your battle pass window you will see an interactive calculator that will count for you the exact amount of the required eternal orbs to rank up.
As you can see one rank costs 150 eternal orbs. You can change the needed number of ranks to see all the rewards you get when you rank up and how much that will cost you. You can purchase all 40 ranks, in the picture you can see 26 ranks because we start the count from14th rank.
The Empowered rewards you will get only if you upgrade your battle pass. You can upgrade it anytime you like and get all the rewards from the previous and future ranks.
That is pretty much all you need to know about the Diablo Immortal battle pass system. If you still have any questions, please ask them in the comments.
This is a poorly written article and you should be ashamed of yourself. This game 100% gives you the ability to use real $$$ to huy gear. Its called platinum but to get the amount needed to buy anything is impossible to a free player.
Another thing. Battle pasd premium uses orbs, which is an immortal currency is like 10% of the story. I like how you completely failed on how you in fact get these orbs.
You call yourself an expert game review site and yet all this pile of a piece comes off as is low grade blizzard shilling. Bravo
Well, another point of view based on real facts is not wrong.
