New to Eve Online? Creating a character is an exciting process, but there are so many decisions that need making. This article will walk you through the whole thing from selecting your race and bloodline all of the way down to choosing what ship you want!
Empire
The Empire faction in Eve Online is the most populous and powerful in the game. The faction is made up of four races – Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, and Minmatar – each with its strengths and weaknesses. The Empire is centrally controlled by the Amarrian race, which makes them a target for other factions in the game. Ready-made EVE characters for sale are available for purchase at iskmarket.com.
The Amarr
The Amarr are religious people who believe that they are the chosen of God. As a result, they see themselves as superior to other races and have a strict social hierarchy. They are also one of the most technologically advanced races in Eve Online, with powerful ships and weapons.
Amarr has heavy ships with an emphasis on armor. They’re slow but tough, and their drones offer more sophisticated capabilities than most other types of vessels in this category–though they might not be suitable for beginners who want to learn about spaceships as quickly as possible! Amrals’ main weapons are lasers which never run out because you use energy crystals instead of typical ammo; great if your goal is always neutralizing enemies rather than destroying them outright (or just don’t have enough rounds).
The Caldari
The Caldari Navy is a force to be reckoned with. They have strong shields and speed, making them perfect for PvP battles! Their ships use missiles which are good at long-range combat because of their hybrid nature between projectiles or lasers – if you can’t decide what kind might work best just get both types installed on your vessel so they will still do damage even while being shot down by an enemy ship’s defense system.
The Gallente
Why not choose the Gallente race for your character? They have all sorts of cool tech 1 boats that are perfect to develop an industrial-type personality. Their frigates are much faster than Caldari or Amarr, which means you can get into combat quicker if needed! And don’t forget about their drones – they’re good at using them too; plus this option gives more skill points when leveling up in various fields so it’s easier to specialize early on without losing any versatility later down road.
The Minmatar
The Minmatar is a race of warriors and traders from across the stars. Their ships have been known for being both versatile, with many different configurations possible; they also happen to be one-of-a-kind when it comes down to selecting which type you want on your vessel: The fastest in-game!
Bloodline
After picking your race, the next step is to choose a bloodline. This will determine what your character looks like and what their starting attributes are. There are four different bloodlines for each race, so make sure to pick one that you think suits your playstyle the best! When you’re in the Alpha State of Eve Online, it is limited to developing skills from one race.
However, once the omega state becomes available other races can be chosen for your character’s bloodline and ancestry which will give them new looks but don’t have any effect on what they learn or how strong their powers are; this allows everyone with different tastes aesthetically decide who fits best without being too biased about which lineage someone should choose prior hand because regardless if its truly liked ones could still end up disappointed when trying out another.
There are four different bloodlines for each race:
- The Amarr have the Imperial, Khanid, Ni-Kunni, and Shapeir bloodlines.
- The Caldari have the Achura, Civilian, Deteis, and Jinteki bloodlines.
- The Gallente have the Intaki, Jin-Mei, Mattaheen, and Thuristo bloodlines.
- The Minmatar have the Brutor, Sebiestor, Vherokior, and Zehava bloodlines.
Character appearance
Your character’s appearance will be based on the bloodline you choose, so make sure to pick one that you like! The different bloodlines offer a variety of different looks, so you’re sure to find one that suits your style.
Once you’ve chosen your race and bloodline, it’s time to start customizing your character. You can change their hair color, eye color, and skin color to get the look you want. You can also choose what type of clothes they wear and what type of armor they have.
Remember that your appearance is just for cosmetic purposes; it doesn’t affect your character’s skills or abilities. So feel free to experiment until you find the look that’s perfect for you!
Portrait
The next thing you’ll need to do is choose a portrait for your character. This will be the image that represents your character in-game. There are a variety of different portraits to choose from, so take your time and pick one that you like.
You can also upload your custom portrait if you’d like. Simply head to the Eve Online website and select the “Upload Portrait” option. From there, you’ll be able to upload any image you want! Just make sure it’s under 512kb in size.
After you’ve chosen or uploaded your portrait, it’s time to give your character a name. You can name them whatever you want, but keep in mind that other players will see this name when they’re interacting with you in-game. So make sure it’s something appropriate!
Education, character name
The next step is to choose your character’s education. This will determine what their starting skills are. There are four different options to choose from:
- Academy Graduate: You’ll start with a basic understanding of Eve Online’s mechanics. This is a good option for new players who want to learn the ropes.
- Military School: You’ll start with a strong understanding of Eve Online’s combat mechanics. This is a good option for players who want to focus on PvP.
- Business School: You’ll start with a strong understanding of Eve Online’s trade mechanics. This is a good option for players who want to focus on trading and industry.
- Civilian School: You’ll start with a strong understanding of Eve Online’s social mechanics. This is a good option for players who want to focus on diplomacy and politics.
Once you’ve chosen your education, you’ll need to choose a name for your character. This is the name that other players will see when they’re interacting with you in-game, so make sure it’s something appropriate!
