The gaming industry is developing very fast. Many games are released every day. The gaming market is full of games of different quality. Some of them are simple or old-school while other games are of the AAA class. Gamers nowadays have a great variety of games and sometimes it is very hard to follow and play all games that you might find interesting. One of the main reasons is time. But there are two other not less important reasons.
First of all, it is very expensive to buy all the games that release on the market. Even if a player doesn’t buy leading and famous games. Buying all the interesting games can cost a pretty penny. And if you focus on AAA games they will cost you even more to collect.
Second of all, you will need to have your devices up to date. If you are a console player you will see that there is a need to buy a new console every 2-3 years to get access to the newly released games. PC gamers on the other hand will need to upgrade their computers as every new generation of games will require more powerful hard systems like video cards, for example. As all you know buying a new gaming device or upgrading the old one is a very expensive business.
These are the main reasons that pushed the development of cloud gaming. If you haven’t heard of it before we’ll describe it below.
What is cloud gaming?
Cloud gaming is a way to play games remotely on other devices. You will perform as if you play the game, but actually, your device will not process any requests, but will only display the results processed remotely on the screen. Sometimes cloud gaming is also referred to as gaming on-demand or gaming-as-a-service.
The advantage of such gaming is that you don’t need a top PC to play top games as all inputs are processed on remote devices and you will get the streamed game from the cloud. Of course, you understand that you need a third-party company that will allow you access to these cloud gaming servers. One of such services is called GeForce NOW.
What is GeForce NOW?
As you understand GeForce NOW is a service that let you play games remotely. You will experience how GeForce video cards work through cloud gaming. Such service costs money, of course. You will pay a subscription and will be able to play any available game from the GeForce NOW library.
There are three plans to play on GeForce NOW.

So when you join GeForce NOW you get access to the servers with the parameters that match your subscription. In the library, you will see games that you can play. No need to buy any of the games separately, but that might mean that some games will not store your saves. If you buy a game all the saves will be saved.
What is the difference? Why should you buy the game and GeForce NOW subscription if you can play it on your device directly? Of course, if your PC can run the game and you are satisfied with the quality got for it. But some players cannot afford to buy a new PC but what to play top games on the highest performance. Now they can do it via such services that offer cloud gaming servers.
