Thanks to the Hammer of the Ancients (or rather Remorseless) buff, in Season 25 this build got the opportunity to be on par with the top Barbarian builds. Builds with HotA (with IK and Raekor sets) have always been popular, as they made it possible to quickly clear both Rifts and bounties. However, using Legacy of Dreams provides much more, both for damage and defence, than the aforementioned sets. Therefore, if you want a tanky Barbarian, with high attack speed and damage, then this build is perfect.
I have been an avid gamer since childhood. My favorite genres are RPGs, Action, and MMOs. Some of my all-time favorite games include the Diablo and Path of Exile ARPG series, the Dark Souls series, and JRPGs like Xenoblade, Atelier, and the Final Fantasy. I am also a big fan of the PSP and PS Vita, and I currently enjoy gaming on my Nintendo Switch.

How does one put on hammer of the ancients AND whirlwind at the same time? That’s the only thing messing me up with this build. Other than that, I’m running the strongest toon I’ve had with this guides help. Thanks a ton.
Whirlwind is a great tool for pooling and gathering mobs in Greater Rifts (plus Dust Devils rune helps a lot stacking Bane of the Stricken legendary gem). If you don’t need this (in regular Rifts or bounties), feel free to swap it for Furious Charge (Merciless Assault), War Cry (Veteran’s Warning) or Threatening Shout (Falter).
