We are eager to share with you some news about the upcoming Diablo 4! The new quarterly update is up and we’d like to highlight the major details of Diablo IV skill and talents system.
First of all, bear in mind that all of the announcements are not final as many things can go through significant changes after several tests and feedback from the community. Diablo 4 Skills and Talents
For the current state Blizzard have brilliant ideas that will make Diablo IV gameplay very variable and interesting. New skill system consists of three types of nodes: active skills, enhancements for active skills and passive improvements. You can see how Diablo 4 skill tree will look like above.
The square nodes will give you the opportunity to open active skills. Circle nodes will open improvements for the active skills you’ve opened. And red diamond skills are passive skills. Moreover, you will need to open passive skill points on the branches of the tree and use those points in roots to activate the passives. You may find more information from the screenshots below.
In addition, we should expect a new endgame progression that will be way better than the Paragon system in Diablo 3. Blizzard has a lot of new ideas and is working hard to make the game perfect for all new and old players. Next time read about Sorcerer Enchantment System.
