Sword of the Necromancer is a unique dungeon-crawler RPG. However, the player should be careful – every death of the protagonist carries serious penalties because this game also has fraudulent elements. If you are familiar with classic 2D Zelda games or new Rogue-like games (such as Enter the Gungeon), then you will find something similar in this game, because the developers took their inspiration from these games.
The key feature of this game is the sword. With its help, you will be able to resurrect slain monsters so that they will fight alongside you. Upgrade yourself and your minions – fighting side by side with you, they increase their characteristics too. A huge arsenal of weapons with unique properties and types of attacks that you will meet in random dungeons. With limited space in your backpack, you have to choose what to take with you. Local co-op is implemented in the game – for this, you need Flask of Homunculus, which will create a copy of your character for the second player.
The game is very dynamic and interesting, and be prepared for losses – when you die, you lose half of the experience gained and all equipment. However, each new attempt approaches you with the main villain – the mighty Necromancer. Defeating him is Tama’s only chance to rescue his girlfriend Koko!
The game will be available on Steam soon, so it’s time to add it to your Wishlist! A free Prologue is also available on the Steam page to check the game out.
